The ring tends to crack
Works well when intact. Like the one I replaced, this guatd cracks in the ring that holds it onto the drill. I have repairedit with a bit of aluminium and small screws to reenfotce theglued join, but thatis what I did with the original one on the drill and it eventually developed more cracks. I think I will dig out someof myoldmeccano curved stripsto reenforce my next one.
