JDMSPEED 60 Pound Shaved Door Handle Trunk Solenoid Popper Kit Street Rod Design to Pop Open The Toughest Doors, Hoods and Trunks 60lb

Well worth the cost. Works great

Neighbors moved out -- left over five basically wild dogs. County caught three, but not the rest, so I built a feral hog type of trap with a swing down gravity gate. I use this solenoid as the heart of my gate release mechanism along with a 12 VDC car battery, Bestex Inverter, SM663 Goodbabymonitor. I used some scrap solar panel 12 AWG wire to wire the board setup. The box was missing the 2 brass attachment bolts to connect to the bracket, but I used a clamp here instead as shown in the video. Now I can watch and wait ...

Works great for pig trap gate. Fires quick with plenty of power.

It's the size of a starter solenoid! See photo, Ford 4.6L starter for reference. It's exactly 2 inches in diameter. It's way too big to use in my application as a trunk popper. It'd probably weigh down the trunk lid and take up way too much space in an already-small trunk. Although I didn't measure the current draw, I can imagine it would be a lot. So I can't hook it up directly to my remote control module, either. I would highly recommend using a relay if you are going to power it with any kind of control module. Also it doesn't have a ground connection, so it must be grounded by the bracket that holds it. I can't honestly remove a star for this, it's my own dumb fault I didn't look at the picture with the dimensions.

It didn’t fix my problem. Not sure if it worked still have the same problem

Worked as expected timely delivery

So works good, I would strongly suggest not using the cheap button that comes with the kit unless you are using it on a relay. I used the steel cable that came with it for a little bit till I started having problems after 6 months. I Replaced it with a threaded rod and turnbuckle instead. Lastly the shaft of the solenoid stripped and resorted to welding it in place since I have a turnbuckle for adjustment. All in all, good for the price for the bracket and solenoid.

Works awesome on my custom ranchero for the tail gate .

Lo instale y esta trabajando bien

Received Jan 31st. Did not install until Mar 4th. Seller was no help after asking for tech help, only told return window was missed. Promoted as 60 pound door puller, instructions say 50, but doubt it pulls more than 10 pounds. Would take up cable slack but would not even budge the latch. I changed the design, made a boomerang shaped lever and got it working. But am a little pissed at seller, if you know nothing about the products you sell, I do t think you should be a retailer selling. Lousy seller.

Installed in tailgate works great

Received what I ordered
