Works out of the box, but ...
Excited to receive and try this device out as I wanted to 'float' some 3D printed models.However, no instructions came with it and when trying it out, the floating puck tilted and smashed into the ferrous ring after putting something on it.The device ring is fine but the puck split into two (or rather the neodymium magnet underneath) and now it can't be used at all - lasted all of 10 minutes :(If you get one of these devices - make sure you place a packing foam between the puck and the device to try it out (and learn from my mistake!)Overall, having no instructions at all was not very useful!
