NUK First Essentials Kiddy Cutlery Spoons in Assorted Colors, 3-count

At first I got these spoons because they seemed like they would be good transition spoons between plastic baby spoons and metal adult ones, but soon figured out they have an even better use: they are GREAT to use on the go when you need to quickly chop up larger chunks of food into bite-sized pieces, but don't have a knife. The usual plastic or silicone baby spoons are way too soft to break apart solid food, and it's not always convenient to carry a knife. These are nice and sturdy for mashing and chopping, and the larger size makes it easier for the kid to scoop food even with her shaky aim.

We are using these spoons for a four-year-old girl, who is pleased with how easily she can feed herself with these utensils (compared to some of the struggle she has with adult-sized utensils). The padded, rounded handle makes it easy for her to grip. The bowl of the spoon is smaller, so she can fit it into her mouth without a problem. We only hand wash (no dishwasher) but they are holding up fine. My only complaint is that these are made in China (but that's tough to avoid these days). I included a picture on the product page of this spoon laid next to the Oneida spoons we use, for comparison of size and shape. Would not hesitate to buy again, and will be returning to Amazon to but the forks.

I have quite a few sets of these & we are very happy with them. They are easy to hold & hold up well. The picture is deceiving bc it shows pink spoons but after receiving green spoons I reread the description which states "assorted colors". I was disappointed to receive the green set. There should be a picture of both colors to indicate that it's assorted colors. Or better yet, you should be able to select the color you want. I really don't want the green ones. :( Still giving 5 starts bc the product is great.

My son is 15 months and just started using his own spoon at meals. This is one of my favorite spoons. It's a good size and sturdy feeling spoon. Nice chunky handle for my little guy to grip. The spoon itself is large enough to get a good size bite in, but not too huge for a toddler (would not recommend for a baby under a year, too big). My son mainly eats his oatmeal with this spoon. I did find the spoon is a little too shallow for runnier foods, such as yogurt. For that, I prefer a deep spoon, such as Gerber Graduates Scoopin Spoons (our other favorite!). Outside of "runny" foods, this spoon is a winner!

Nice wide bowl of the spoon, curved just enough to avoid messes without being too tricky to eat off of. Handles are easy to grip. I think it's funny that they have the little ridge to keep it off the table. Neat idea, but it doesn't actually work. Plus, when does a toddler ever actually sit a spoon down carefully on the table? Ours usually just end up on the floor.

With four kids we've tried all kinds of toddler spoons and these are far and away the best. They are not too deep and not too shallow. The handle is just the right size and shape. They are sturdy and don'd bend, we even scooped ice cream with one and it didn't bend. They come through the dishwasher great. The part the child eats off of is stainless steel rather than plastic and there is no paint on them to come off or cause a recall. We have some of the forks, spoons, and knives that have already gone through three of our children and are still in great shape.

I had bought Gerber Graduate 3 pack Kiddy Cutlery Forks from Walmart in Lime green & yellow color combination. When I decided to buy these spoons from Amazon ,I didn't have an option to select a particular color. Obviously because I already had the forks in Lime green & yellow combination , I was kindof hoping that Amazon sends me the same color...And they did...yipppeeee...I lucked out. These spoons are great and so are the forks. They are the right size for your kid and are good enough for them to hold and eat on their own.

I love these. I had an old set for years but they were all getting lost! My son will only eat the green ones so I ordered a green set and what I thought were a pink set so my daughter could finally get a chance to start using them . However, two sets of green game. Make sure you read the description, just because the picture is pink doesn’t mean your ordering pink! :(

Justo del tamaño que lo esperaba, lo hijo tiene 3 años y siempre le quedaban muy pequeñas las otras cucharas pero éstas están perfectas a su edad. Lo único es que llegaron rosas y pedí verdes.
