A very sharp and efficient pruner
I bought one a couple of years ago and have used it sparingly since I bought it, until this year. Springtime in Texas is when you get after trimming and cutting shrubs, bushes, and plants you hope survived the winter. Luckily for us, this year was not a cold winter so there was plenty to trim. Well, this pruner was put to use and it made the trimming very easy and efficient. My wife tried it and she loved using it as well, so we ordered another one! The new one will be hers to use as she loves to work in the yard.As for the pruner itself, it is Japanese-made, and authentic Japanese steel was used. I've always been an admirer of Japanese made knives and swords so this is not new to me. No matter what is claimed by other manufacturers about how good their pruners and knives are made, I will always be partial to the Japanese manufacturing process. These guys know what they are doing and are experts.

Nice clean sharp clipper w/ wearable protective pouch
I can say that I am the master of owner and use of many garden clipper tool brands in the last 25yr. One of my many hobbies is landscaping/gardening/fruit trees. I owned most of high end clipper brands but this one is my second best fav. When I am out to my home or at my ranch and I always wear one of this trusting clipper. The price is hard to beat. I am current have about 30 clippers that I purchased here and there. I have about 10 of corona clippers and about 6 still in box for my future needs. Remember these clipper can be re-sharpen if you know how…I re-sharpen and oil it during the winter time and ready to use in the spring/summer.I am recommending this purchased clipper tool here because of its steel material that can last a lifetime and can be re-sharpen as need. the price is hard to pass. I hope my honest purchased experience will help you decide on your next best fav clipper of choice.

Sharp, and simple
Simple design, seem pretty strong, sharp edge. I was slightly concerned that they'd feel a little "loose" or flimsy from the design, but they feel and work in a solid manner.A lot of folks complain about pinch points and their palm getting hurt... I have small/skinny hands, and I just can't for the life of me figure out how I could hurt myself with these pruners. I think that if you have big hands or fleshy hands maybe that could be a concern I guess. Feels so unlikely though if you're using them in a normal position and in a normal manner.

Beautifully sharp and clean
I am a real stickler when it comes to knives and other sharp-edged tools, in and out of the garden. A quickly blunted cutting edge is more of a pain than it's worth, and when you're trimming delicate plants you want the ability to be extremely precise, with clean cuts and good cutting angles. These *feel* high quality when you use them, and the results are equally pleasing. This is a product I would have no difficulty buying again, but it such a well-made product I doubt I'll ever have to.
