For a As Seen on TV item...This actually works!
Most people who buy "As Seen on TV" items, usually find certain items to be hit-or-miss. This one was a hit! I was skeptical at first, but I was able to eat my favorite pasta from cooking with this. (Background on the stove: our stove is breaking down and I don't trust it because it gets super hot due to a broken mechanism, but otherwise it works) This $20 microwave cookware was worth it! It is sturdy and dishwasher safe. (I am in charge of washing dishes and taking out trash and this item is of great value) The cook time, which usually involves boiling is cut down significantly. My only complaint and it's rather small, is the straining side of the lid needs improvement because if you're picky about how much water is on the pasta, you may have to drain a little bit harder. I have yet to buy any of the other items from this brand, but I plan on it. I also eat ramen and want to try that cooker. So in summation, this one works as expected for my 1200W microwave. It cooks my pasta al dente (for shapes like for Barilla, like the heart ziti for Valentine's Day, you may need to dial it back a bit because I had dealt with some breakage from it. The accompanied guide said to adjust accordingly.)

Great buy
I love this. Cooking time in instructions works great. Container doesnโt stay extremely hot so you can take out with just your hands. Iโve only cooked 3 different varieties of pasta but it worked great for all of them. Very versatile.

OMG, it actually works!
I've seen this many times and just couldn't wrap my brain around it. It was on sale during 2026 Prime Days. I got it today and tried it. OMG - I always have trouble getting gemelli pasta to come out al dente. It's always too hard, too soft, just a PITA for me. This gizmo made it turn out perfect. I really can't believe it. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Easy to use
Although I like this and think itโs great, the buyer needs to know that it only cooks 4 servings at a time. A normal box of spaghetti is 8 servings. So technically if you are serving 8 people you have to repeat the process twice which makes using the stove more convenient. If just making a half a box then it works great.

It works well for me.
I tried this for the first time this evening. I was using regular spaghetti. I made one serving as measured by the circular hole in the lid. I microwaved it for 13 minutes since I started with sub-room temperature water. It resulted in a nice al dente pasta. I would say that this was a success. I'm not sure how much time this saves, but it certainly makes it easier to do a quick single serving than dragging out a pot. Cleanup was as simple as rinsing the Fasta Pasta. I live by myself. I was previously making spaghetti in an Instant pot. The Instant pot would do a wonderful job with the spaghetti in about the same amount of time, but I was making the spaghetti a pound at a time and eating my way through it bit by bit. With the Instant pot, I would have to break the strands in half to fit the bowl. I'm not sure if I'll stick with this. If I don't, it will be a matter of personal preference for another method, not due to any shortcomings on the part of the Fasta Pasta.

Time saving convenience for perfect pasta
A very convenient way to make pasta for one to four people. The container is dishwasher safe and the lid contains a handy measuring method and draining slits. The instructions are clear and concise and include cooking times for various types of pasta. It's nice not to have to dirty a large pot. The Fasta Pasta saves time by not having to bring water to a boil and then to cook the pasta for additional minutes. Two servings of spaghetti are done in 12 to 13 minutes. One caveat: your microwave must be able to accommodate the 11-1/4-inch-long container.

Itโs Better than a Pasta Pot
It really works. I didnโt know pasta could be cooked as fast as it does in the Fasta Pasta. And you use so much less water.

It takes 9 minutes to cook pasta Surely not as tasty as fire cooked pasta but still itโs a quick gadget to use.

Fasta Pasta the Microwave Cooker - A Great Product!
This is a great Microwave Pasta Cooker. I mainly cook wholewheat pasta which cooks to perfection in 9 minutes when covered with preboiled water from the kettle. I made the mistake of placing the lid loosely on top of the cooker when using it for the first time and it boiled over. The lid should be put on properly after the pasta is cooked in order to carry it safely from the microwave to the sink when it is then used for draining the water out of the specially made drainage holes. Make sure you hold the little handles on the sides. It's just trial and error with the other types of pasta until you get the amount of water and cooking time that cooks it in the way that you prefer. I emailed the seller with a query when I first bought the Fasta Pasta Cooker but I didn't get any response.

Foolproof pasta, easy clean-up & great time-saver.
I purchased this on sale for $20, but it would have been worth the full price. The lid is a great design as you can measure spaghetti and use it to drain the water from your cooked pasta - you don't cook with the lid on. The microwave I use for this is an older low power one, and the cooking times given are perfect for al dente - I add a minute or two as I prefer mine a little softer. It is a no fuss cooker, you just measure, set the time, cook, stir, add the extra time, take out, rinse, add sauce and eat. Even when cooking just for myself, I prepare enough for 3-4 people and by the time I have made my sauce (this I do from scratch as it is so simple) and added veggies or meat if cooking for others, there is plenty for dinner that day, the next day and for freezing 2 or 3 portions. My pets know when I am preparing this as they get a bit hyper and won't stop pestering me for some nibbles when I am eating (not good as cats and dogs can't have garlic or onions) - they love pasta though. The clean-up is easy as there is no starchy, stickiness left on the cooker. If you head the instructions for portions and note the fill lines and time, it won't boil over in the microwave, so no mess there either. Washing up takes next to no time as a tiny bit of dish soap to wash it does the trick - you don't even need a sponge or scrubber. I imagine that some ppl just rinse with water as the container is so clean when emptied. The pasta doesn't stick together and even if you are using an in-between portion that isn't shown on the instructions, you can guestimate and just add time as needed. Great purchase.
