I have several of these MYM cans and they are sturdy! Haven’t seen one buckle under the weight yet. Handle is sturdy as well. Price is right. Prefer these to the metal cans.

This is great for storing ammo or also for anything else you want to keep secure. It has good strong latches on it and has a hole so you can lock it. Versatile in it's usages! We also use this when we go camping to keep things like medications or sharps locked up that we don't want people having easy access to.

Works awesome to turn into a portable power station using a 20AH Lithium battery. Plenty of room for the battery with padding around it plus a cigarette lighter adapter, USB Ports, charger plugin, and an on/off power switch. And there's still enough room inside for a small cigarette lighter power inverter. Perfect for emergency power outages, camping, or to power your kayak's fish finder.

Completely on the level here...I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't for the large sticker on the front. It's the red/white sticker that you see in the photo provided by the seller. The ammo can is exactly what I wanted for some additional ammo storage. Unfortunately, I, like most I assume, don't want a sticker blazing away on the front of a black can. So, I removed the sticker. Only to be left with some futuristic stickiness. I used: scouring pad with soap and water. Fail...but, did manage to spread the goo out more. Razor blade. Fail. Ever try to scrape plastic? Acetone (nail polish remover)...nope...but, again, it spread it out even further. Rubbing alcohol...for the most part, it removed 80-85% of the residual goo. The front of the can looks as though it weathered a war. It is still somewhat tacky to the touch though. Seriously folks...stop putting stickers on stuff! A simple insert into the can would have been perfect...you know...along with the MTM catalogue that you put inside. I digress...the can itself is a quality item...and better priced than the Plano cans you can get at your local sporting goods store. Well worth the money spent. Durable clips to close it, place for a lock, and a rubber seal to keep out moisture. I recommend the MTM ammo can...good luck removing the sticker.

This is my second purchase from this manufacturer. Solid product and I would recommend if you are looking for non metal storage. Two clips keep it secure with open storage inside.

This thing stores my ammo like it was made for it! I bet you could store other stuff in it too if you wanted. I was able to separate and organize all my ammo easily with these and they are a much better price and lighter than the metal cans. They fit a good amount of both loose or boxed ammo so best of both worlds I guess.

These are my favorite ammo cans. Lots of space, strong, waterproof and has that extra seal where it closes together, and is just a great value. I prefer over metal because I hate the sound of the metal ones closing and also I prefer to not have the temp changes of the metal ones, although I’m sure it’s fine, I just prefer the plastic. That way everything has a more consistent temperature. I even use these for other supplies. They’re are also stackable, which saves space. Idk if this specific listing has it, but they have these in many different colors and sizes also! I just prefer this size the most, and I try to color code my ammo types by the container. (Like 9 is one color, 221/556 another, etc.) I recommend these to all my friends and it’s the only brand I’ll buy!

I have to mention that this MTM ammo can is very good quality and a great size. The side walls are fairly straight which gives decent usable internal dimensions. I once bought a Plano at a similar size and the side walls were so weak that the top was a struggle to line up when you closed it, it had too much flex and also less internal usable dimensions. I do not see that being an issue at all with this new MTM! Looking at the carry handle, it is the only point of weakness. The way it was designed it clicks (locks) itself to the lid from the side and my feeling is with enough weight and a jolt it might come out. To explain, If you look at the picture you will see the handle can pivot only 90 degrees from the recessed area that it nests in and into the upright position. Well maybe 95 degrees if your lucky... Point being when you use the carry handle as your walking the case is being thrown side to side a little and considering the carry handle wont go past the 90-95 degree mark it jams against the lid. The way the design is the pressure created when it jams pushes the handle in the direction that could push it out of the click/lock. I have 22 pounds in this case right now and with the leverage and weight I wondered how close it might have been to letting go. I shook the case side to side with the weight in it and it was ok and never let go so this is not an issue handle feels sturdy and it means this MTM is built very well. It just could have been designed better to be completely solid and not putting leverage pressures in the areas that could cause a failure in more extreme conditions. Still a 5 star product for sure!

Great little ammo box. I used to make a battery box for fishing. Big enough to fit a 20AH mini battery and inverter, along wiring for toggles and USB plugs.

I love these boxes and have several. Based on the US Army's .50 calibre ammunition boxes, but in plastic by MTM. They are very well made, water resistant, and the carrying handle and locking latches are excellent. There are holes for a padlock if you want one. Among other things, I use these to keep jacking and recovery gear in my Jeep, to store my set of Japanese waterstones and other sharpening tools for my knives and axes; my fletching and arrow making tools and of course to carry ammunition to the range! They are stackable, can hold a remarkable amount of stuff and they are strong. I could not be without them.
