Corsair 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 1066 MHz (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory 1.5V

Well when I was looking around online for a ram upgrade for my mid 2010 macbook (which only had 2 GB at the time) I came across this product and decided to look at it. I read the reviews and read that it had worked in a 2008 macbook pro and other mac computer so I decided to give it a try. It came here a week before it said it would (Which made me really happy :) ) When I got it the ram was packaged very nicely. I opened it up put it in my white Macbook booted it up and worked perfectly! It saw all 5 GB's of ram ( 1 x4 and 1 x1) So now my computer is noticeably faster and works exactly how its suppose to that why I give this product a 5/5if you are looking for a upgrade for your macbook or pc laptop this would be the way to go!

My Lenovo T410 (Type 2537-909) with 4G of RAM (2Gig embeded + 2Gig in a DIMM located in accesible repository) needed better performance for the i5 Intel. I bought this memory and fits well with no issues, just one important recommendations: shut down the laptop (no invernate or standby), and disconnect power cable and the battery, so you can upgrade to 6Gigs of memory easily. My system is Windows7 and works well. I was concerned about some memory parity matching that do not accept different sizes of DIMM memories but it was not the case, so if you have this T-series go ahead with this affordable memory.

I bought this along with a 500 gb Solid State Drive, and rebuilt my Dell E6410 on Windows 7 64-Bit. I like the Performance Monitor in Win 7, which shows it's using all FOUR cpu's. The laptop runs like a banshee, with the combination of more memory, SSD and the 64-Bit OS. SSD is surely part of that improvement, too.

Works perfectly with my Toshiba Satellite computer! I think Toshiba satellites are really finicky with the type of RAM they accept ( I went through 2 different companies with different RAM they each said would work), and I finally stumbled upon Corsair's with the same exact specs as my Toshiba's OEM RAM, except 8gb. Very happy, Windows boots up and computer operates much faster now.

I received the RAM module today much earlier than expected. I received it 2 whole business days before expected arrival :DOnce i popped it in my laptop,a Toshiba Satellite A505, the system info recognized it was installed and photoshop, my main application i use, runs so much smoother and faster than before, even with an upgrade of only 4 to 6GB. Definitely satisfied with the product :D Worth the money

I bought two of these for my MacBook Pro to upgrade it to 8 GB. Installation was simple, and the memory was recognized with no issues. The price paid here was cheaper than crucial, and of course way cheaper than buying from Apple, who wanted 6x the price.This was just installed a week ago, so I can't speak to the longevity yet, but with a lifetime warranty, I'm not concerned with that at all.

I was a bit skittish when I purchased this memory. The MFG of my MoBo specified a different (more expensive) DIMM (PC3-6400). Because this DIMM has lower latency and a price tag just above the $25 free shipping threshold, I took a risk and ordered one. Now I wish I'd ordered two. I installed the DIMM... and it worked right out of the gate...

I purchased this item for my 2009 27" iMac. After going through a spell of upgrading all my tech I finally got round to upgrading all the RAM in the iMac to be from the same manufacturer. The Corsair value brand came with next day delivery thanks to Amazon Prime.In the package you are presented with a clear hard resin plastic case to keep your RAM safe during transit, you have to break a seal in order to open the case and remove the RAM when installing.If you want this to upgrade you iMac, you'll have to located the dedicated RAM slots on your mac. on the early iMac models it is usually located at the bottom of the unit. You will need a small philips head screwdriver in order to open the RAM compartment. You will then need to pull down the RAM retaining tab (plastic ribbon) to dislodge the RAM so you can replace it. Note when replacing RAM make sure you place it in firmly (don't snap it), test to make sure it is in before booting up the iMac. If you are presented with a black screen on startup, check to make sure the RAM is seated correctly, if it still fails, then check the compatibility of the RAM you have purchased.######Overall######I have had this RAM for some time and I've had no issues with it. Good decent solid RAM stick from Corsair.I would definitely recommend this to any iMac or Laptop owner. For the price you can't go wrong. I have never purchased a faulty product from Corsair.

I researched heavily before choosing this as the best quality/budget option. From the packaging these are clearly from Corsair's budget range (see pictures) however I have fully tested the one I received and I it passed every test without any problems.I was buying memory for a Acer Aspire 5553 ZR8 Laptop and the spec I required is 4GB 1066MHz DDR3-1066, PC3-8500, 204p SODIMM, 1.5v, CL=7, Non-ECC which these are, though that is not stated in the product description so I referred to the manufacturers website to check. If buying for the Acer 5553 be aware this is 1066Mhz memory and some machines have 1333Mhz memory, so check what you have installed first.Good budget memory, recommended.

I bought this RAM for an Acer 5742 i3 laptop which came with 3G - 1x1G and 1x2G sticks. This went in in place of the 1G which is now gathering dust. Installation was a doddle and it works just fine. Loads of folks on t'Internet will tell you you're wasting your time fitting more than 4G. But look at it this way - most laptops use system RAM for video, and it's easier than you might think to hit the 3G level. If you've got a 64-bit OS and are considering opening the box really you might as well go for this one. Do it, because: why not?

Bought 2 to upgrade a laptop. Pretty simple to put in.If you've not done it before, make sure you insert at 45 degrees. Then be sure to slide the contacts in all the way, then snap forward into place.And double check with the manual on your laptop that this is supported and that you use the right amount.Ran memtest86+ over night. No errors.

Unfortunately, CM3X4GSD1066 is not made up of 2 x 2GB modules, but rather one 4GB stick. As I have to install in pairs this is no good to me. Double check this if you are looking to buy 2 2GB sticks.
