I purchased a few different types of locks for our pantry trying to keep our dog out of the dog food. These are by far the best. Easy to install, easy to use and do no damage to your door. Perfect solution to open and close the doors with ease.

This is an amazing door lock! Ironically, I did not get his because of my four year old getting into the laundry room which has two folding doors. But instead I got this because one of cats, the youngest of the two. She’s discovered how to open these types of doors. I simply placed this lock over the door when it’s open. Close the door and slide the lock over. Now I can keep her out of the laundry room! The fit was perfect and it does come with a spacer in case your door is not as wide. Ease to remove, just slide back and forth. Functional and simple. Best of both worlds. Definitely worth the money. In fact, I had to purchase this lock again shorty after because the same cat was opening the single door where the water heater and air handler are stored. Definitely worth the purchase if you have a curious little one or cat or both!

Do you have a baby? Do you have bi-fold closet doors? THEN WHY DON’T YOU HAVE THESE?! Seriously these are a LIFE SAVER!!! I have a 1 year old and he lovvessss to get into anything and everything he isn’t supposed to and I swear he’s attracted to everything that can hurt him (tiny pinched fingers anyone???) I don’t know about you but I don’t have the time, patience or wherewithal to stop every 5 minutes to remove my son from the hallway closet that has dual bifold doors, but the standard baby proofing supplies don’t offer much in terms of a solution to the problem. So I’ve inconveniently been using chairs and all else I could think of to keep him out…but no dice! He’s a diabolical little mastermind and much too strong for his age. Nothing I had worked so it was a constant battle of picking him up while I was in the middle of any (*insert chore or any other action where interruption is a terrible inconvenience here*) number of situations that I simply had to find a solution. Enter this divine invention, so simple, so effective, so sanity saving…it had to come from heaven. It even comes with a little dangle handle so someone as vertically challenged as I can reach to be able to get into said closet without an issue. My son however try as he may (and oh has he tried!!) it will not budge, much to his dismay and to my silent dare I say sinister?? satisfaction. Seriously though these are a must have if you face similar situations in your household, they bring so much peace of mind and are totally worth the cost. Don’t worry about the thickness of your doors, they’re pretty wide and fit standard doors, if yours happen to be a little thinner that’s ok to, there’s an insert that snaps to the inside of the piece which accommodates slimmer doors. They’re super easy to install..well for taller folks..I had to have my oldest son slip them over the top of the door for me, partly because I was to exhausted/lazy to grab a chair and do it myself…hey I’m a single mom of 3…IYKYK!! Why are you still reading?! Order a pair already!

It’s a very simple device that keeps cats out of my closet. I’m going to buy more for my other closets and pantry. I recommend trying this without the extra plastic backing first. I have thicker doors and almost couldn’t get it off. Fits and slides just fine without the extra plastic panel. 4 stars because it’s sturdy enough for me and the cats, but if someone gave the door a hard yank while the slide is securing the door, I think it might snap. The wand is also flimsy and I think would easily snap.

This is a great invention! You will need one for every seam of a bifold door- so my large closet that opens in the middle required two devices. I feel so much better knowing my toddler won’t pinch his fingers or be getting into the closet without me. Easy to install, wand helps you reach and slide to open.

I used these in my son’s room to baby proof his closet doors. They work really well. I like this particularly well because we are renting and these do not have any adhesives or screws so they are easy to just pop off whenever we move out and they won’t leave any marks or anything like that.

We had a dog that figured out how to open the closet doors. We used these and they worked perfectly! Even though they are plastic they are durable.

This product is a stroke of genius. It does not stick on the door, but you put it on the top of the door and can slide it over the bi-fold section of the door and it stops the door from opening. We use this to stop our dog from pressing on the door and opening it, getting in to things it should not!

The only thing that could be improved is that a rod would be useful on both sides so that you can move it easily from either side of the door & the piece that holds the rod stops the opening of the door fully as it protruded too much.

Fit and worked excellently. Easy to install and use. Used to prevent a child from accessing the closets with bifold doors. Unobtrusive and not unsightly. Would buy again and recommend.

This has been a brilliant find as could not find anything that worked or was substantial for a bathroom bi fold to keep secure and private. So so pleased with this.
