HORRIBLE SUCTION REMOVAL TOOL!!
This component removal suction tool is absolutely horrible! I bought this to help with the removal of a 3090 GPU core and it didn’t have the power to lift the core once the solder solidified! This was a waste of time and money. Trust me, don’t waste your money on this one.

Clever, functional
Hahaha! I don't think I've ever seen anybody take a separate product, repurpose it, add some parts, and resell it - at least not in the original box! I like your enterprising spirit! (To 3rd parties: it's an aquarium pump with added tubing and chip-picker-upper pen etc.) And it works, unlike my impression of the other leaky springloaded products I saw on amazon. Room for improvement: it takes a second to pick up a chip, I think because of the amount of air in the system. If you could either get a tube with a smaller inner diameter and add an adapter for the large end, or fill the inside of the tube (e.g. cotton, or a smaller tube), and similarly removed dead space from the inside of the pen, I think the problem would improve. The user can just turn up the pumping speed instead - but that leads to the second problem, that the pump is kinda noisy. Not sure if there's anything you can do about that one, though. Third thing: the tube tends to kink in transit and sometimes in use. Hasn't been a huge problem yet, but fixing the first problem might also solve this one. Still though, good work overall!

Don't buy this
The description picture shows the aquarium air pump has a USA 3 prong grounded plug and says it is 110v. Mine has a 2 prong polarized plug but the box clearly says it is "220v - 240v 50hz" and that might explain why others say it pickups up very little. The one I received today is definitely not 110v like the ad says but is a 220v device. The box is also beat up and tabs look like the box has been opened many times. The box says it is a Cosmos 12000 aquarium air pump and does not mention the pickup probes even though there are 2 in the box.

Good vacuum - works as expected
Good amount of vacuum. Both vacuum ports work one at a time or together. Happy with the product so far.

Poorly made suction tips and nozzles
I purchased these to aid in removing various ICs, SMDs, BGAs, etc... However, I found that this device doesn't do such a great job of actually grabbing the chips. The pens are light and small but the suction functionality when connected aren't the best. ontop of the poorly made suction tips. (holes still had silicon plugs in them that I had to pry out with tweezers). However, this device did ship rather quickly. And the parts can individually be used with other devices so, there's that.

Creative Upcycle of (Used?) Acquarium Pump
For $35 I had low expectations, especially since other reviews noted the suction is weak. At max suction, it definitely works great with small SMD passives. It feels hit or miss for larger BGA components, but might be fine for some TSOP and QFN parts. I feel a little bet deceived by the fact that what the item actually is, is a used aquarium pump. It has that fishy smell and had some black residue on it. This came off easily with bleach though. The suction pens appear to be some metal tubes with custom plastic fittings. The tips look like the same ones I buy with ChipQuik syringes. So -- totally a clever and creative way to have a custom DIY suction solution. I'd have given 4 stars if the listing was clear that this is exactly what the item is. I would have given 5 if the suction were a bit greater. Any tips on juicing this up (quick resistor mod on the motor control?) would be appreciated.

Nice tool
Came with all the requirements listed, not bad vacuum ether! Various cups needed for pickup of different sizes of SMD’s
