Couldn't be happier.I bought them to use at my 6 bay shop. It's not the largest shop but I wanted to be able to hear my music from across the whole shop and at max volume I was pleasantly surprised. So they definitely satisfy my volume needs.As far as sound quality goes, they're good enough for the average listener and if you're using them for your desktop setup then they're even better (they're only 3in woofers so don't expect too much). Definitely not audiophile quality if that's what you're looking for and I didn't buy them for that purpose. One gripe in that field for me (after initial impressions) would be low end, but get a sub if that's what you're looking for.My buddy bought Mackie speakers and never had a single issue so I knew they were a trustworthy brand.The accessories that came with the speakers are being put to good use. The foam isolation pads are doing they're job well enough and for a clamp connection the +/- wires that came with it were surprisingly decent quality. They were already wrapped and appeared to be soldered at the end. The package also comes with a balanced, unbalanced, and 3.5mm cord for whatever you like best.5 stars for Circuit City and Mackie.

For the cost these speakers deliver as promised. The sound quality is adequate, i haven't gotten around to measuring their response yet, but i really do not have any complaints. These speakers are not for audiophiles or users who want the best of the best, if you want top quality you need to pay top quality prices. i am using them as reference speakers for my very small home studio setup, something for playback when i mess around mixing tracks for fun. I didn't buy these speakers to hear pounding bass and crystal clear shimmering highs with ultra smooth mid range. Any body who only spends $100 and expects those qualities should get a reality check.The input options cover the bases and my purchase came with the cables that i needed. If i get a bigger space i will be upgrading my speakers, that i have always planned on. if i decide i need more bass there are sub-woofer options. Mackie is, and has been, a good company, providing gear for budget minded musicians for a long time now. Personally i have owned and used Mackie products for around 25 years. I have never bought anything from them that wasn't made well and been problematic, others have, but again, if you are shopping Mackie you most likely are not the stuck up snotty type.

I brought these speakers over 3yrs ago and let me tell you they have been threw hell and back 2x on a bike with 2 flat tires and they still work amazingly! The sound the clear! The bass is perfect! I would recommend ANYONE to use for small room, office space even little get togethers. I love them and would/WILL be looking in to products from the brand!

While these speakers are small, I would not consider them to be back pack portable. Sure you can take them with you for they are lite enough to place in a duffel for enhanced sound for whatever you may wish to do on a laptop. With multiple inputs they are versatile enough for just about any modest sound application you may have. I use them as reference monitors for my mobile studio, but they are quite capable of providing enough rich sound for a house party. The price point can't be beat. Only wish they came with grills to protect the speakers.

I purchased these Mackie CR3 speakers to use as proper monitors in a very small home recording studio. So far they are working out better than I had hoped. I have read reviews where people complain about the lack of bass response. Well, I really cannot understand what there is to complain about as the bass seems perfectly adequate to me. Not overly bassy but not too thin either. Your not going to fill a concert hall with these but for a small one room studio they are plenty loud.

I needed speakers for my keyboard and these are the ticket! I am so excited and pleased with this product. Super easy hook up, great bass sound, which my piano DID NOT have, and has made a world of difference in the tone and sound. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs keyboard speakers or just want an enhanced sound. Plus delivery time was prompt! Thank you!

Most of my recording is for work and church youtube channels and these do a good job giving me an overall sound to experience what my viewers will. I like and use the several types of inputs on he back when switching between gear and appreciate the headphone jack on the front too. Bass isn't amazing, but they are only 3" speakers, and they surpass my expectations.

Bought these for my home music studio and very surprised to find out that my current cheap speakers sounded better than these. "Facepalm" Couldn't hear the bass well, the treble was great though. No way to adjust. Ended up returning and I'm just going to keep my current speakers.
