Great entry level security system
I have purchased two of these systems. This is a great entry level system for the price point, especially considering that it can be expanded to 8 cameras. The picture quality is good and the the cameras seem to be well built. The software is well laid out and user friendly. The only down point is that of the two systems I purchased one out of the four power/av cables did not work and I had to purchase two separately to get the system fully operational, this isn't too usual because I've had the same issue with other system. I suggest when purchasing not only this system but any camera security system to purchase at least one extra power/av cable, even if you don't have to initially use it, they're good to have around just in case one goes out in the future because it does happen.

A lot of quality for this price!
Love my zosi camera system. Works great just as advertised. Easy install. Be sure to get the hard drive as well. Motion detection works great, as well the night vision. The pic is a screen shot using a phone taking a pic of my tv/monitor. This is very late at night using the night vision. Good quality and picture even with little to no light conditions. I would highly recommend this camera system. *note no animals were harmed* just amazed to see a deer rite in my front yard by the car. You never know unless you get this camera system and see for yourself. No, I was not paid for this advertising.

Camera quality isn't great in low light
System is easy enough to setup. I didn't find a way to view with a PC app, only mobile (maybe there is I just didn't look).It shows good in bright light and good enough in the dark. However, the in-between areas (e.g. in a garage) the quality isn't good. I replaced a 5 year old camera with this one and it showed a lot darker

Lack of Durability
This product fails. After a year and a half, the power supply failed. I had to pay to replace it. After another year and a half the second power supply failed. After replacing it the DVR would not come on. I was instructed by ZOSI Support to upgrade my bios which I did. That did not fix the issue. I was instructed to unplug the hard drive and try to boot it which did not work. I was instructed to upgrade the bios with the hard drive disconnected, which I did and it still did not work. After a week of emails with support they finally determined that the DVR is not working. I was informed that their warranty was two years and if my device was out of warranty that I would be responsible for shipping it back to them and repairs. I was informed it probably would be cheaper to purchase a newer device and they offered a 10% discount. Honestly, why would I buy another product from them if their device does not last more than 3 years. These devices are important in maintaining security for your home or business. Do not purchase this product since you are going to have to replace it sooner than later.To be transparent after the second power supply was obtained the DVR would not go past the system initializing screen. When I was upgrading, the screen did indicate that it was upgrading then go to the system initializing screen and freeze.

Extremeley Disappointed with product -But NOT Tech Support (Hugh)
I had originally gave a 1 star overall rating which I meant for the product, NOT the Hugh the support Technician. Since it looks like I gave Hugh the one star, I have corrected it here by choosing the 5 stars.I give FIVE STARS to Hugh from Tech supportI give ONE star for the product at this point in time. See comments below.At this point I am not going to leave a full review. I will do that in the future. I am giving the company (ZOSI) a chance to make good on what I was told (that they are working on fixes for their motion detection and their app). The app unfortunately does not let you adjust sensitivity amongst other things that you should be able to do and the app is not as intuitive as other camera system apps. The motion detection goes off for such things as the change from dusk to dawn no matter how you adjust the sensitivity. I have even moved and repositioned the cameras. This review is about their Tech Support. The Tech Support person that I have been dealing with is Hugh. Hugh is one of the best Tech Support people I have ever encountered. I myself come from a Tech Support background, so I have some insight on how Tech Support people should always be honest, treat people with care and keep up to date with the knowledge of the product they are supporting. Hugh, excels in ALL of these areas. He has always been honest with me whether the answer was good or bad. He has never tried to sugar coat the issues. If the issue is known he tells you so. He does NOT pretend that it is the first time he is hearing the issue. I respect that and when you are told the truth, I believe you have a higher tolerance to wait and give time for a company to find a fix for known issues. Hugh has excellent knowledge of the product and shows a true, genuine concern on the issues you ask him about. He has always answered my emails promptly and has given me workable answers to my questions that allows me to at least have limited use the product until they fix their other known issues. Thank you, Hugh. I hope your company recognizes how valuable you are to them.

Great customer service
The cameras have great video quality and night vision is very clear as well. the installation wasn’t very difficult either. I did had a problem connecting my DVR to the app on my iPhone but I called customer service for and help the issue. The customer service rep named JAR was great walked me through the steps and was patient and knowledgeable and we got the issue resolved quickly five stars to customer service and the product. I would recommend this product to anyone who is interested in getting some cameras.
