It's so different SOUND from what I heard in yoga class.Not clear..Should I buy something a little expensive?Frankly speaking, I bought it because the FAKE REVIEWS rating was "A."Do reviewers really like this sound?And the box is old and the fabric on the end of the wooden stick is dirty. This doesn't look new.

I don't have much knowledge about singing bowls and researched for a bit on Amazon before taking a chance with this one because it seemed heavier and able to produce the richer sound I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised by this bowl's nice tone and was able to make it sing with no problem. However, the suede on the striker I received is already worn off in places and the pillow is not the most attractive, so if you're wanting to gift this you might want to take that into consideration. I'm using this for myself so will keep it and overlook the flaws until I'm ready to invest in a higher quality bowl.

Great quality handcrafted singing bowl; well made and sturdy material. The red cushion adds a vibrant touch and the wooden stick is solid and heavy which makes the sounds come out much stronger and with beautiful tones. I’ve tried many bowls before but this one is the best I’ve had and at a great price.

My goodness! If this is what the smaller bowl sounds like, then what in the world do the larger bowls sound like?!! This little bowl surprised me at the level of its resonance. I mean its' sound really fills a space quickly. It is such a beautiful sound so much so that my hubby tried to confiscate it. lol So I promised to get him one of his very own. ;-}

Perfect size to carry in luggage. Looks and sounds great for its' size. Nice pillow and presentation box.

Great bowl, sings nicely!

Very pretty peice. Sings very nicely and loudly if you choose. Just have to play around to figure out the tones. My 7 and 10 year old played the bowl very well without much practice.

The pillow is not soft so the bowl doesn't sit solidly on it but other than that ... it has a lovely sound and is well made
