Can you tell me the expiration date?

My can has an expiration date printed on the bottom. I purchased this can about a month ago. The expiration date is 23 July 2015.

Can it be used in hot liquids and iced liquids?

I use this in both hot and cold liquids. Cold liquids thicken more slowly. I also use it to make ice cubes out of thickened water or juice; that way, the consistency of the drink will stay the same and keep cold longer

Is the can supposed to have a lid? Just received my first one and there's no lid.

Yes. The blue top is the lid, and there is a measuring scoop inside.

Does water thickened with Resource go thin over a period of time?

I don't think it does. Usually it was used within an hour but it did not get thinner in that time
