Surprisingly good.
I wasn't expecting much from this to be honest, but thought it was worth a gamble for £10. It arrived the next day and when I removed the packaging, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the machining was well finished and the anodising was perfect. It's perfectly square (checked against a known good engineer’s square) and surprisingly, all of the graduated hole measures are exactly perfect, so when you stick your pencil in the 40 mm hole for example, it will scribe a line at exactly 40 mm from your reference edge.Excellent little tool and a great price. I feel very comfortable recommending this.

Definitely worth the buy
I bought this based on the recommendations.Unbelievable product. It's a shame it doesnt go from 1mm to 4 and starts at 5 but it definitely has its place secured in my belt. It's not the same as a woodpecker product but it definitely performs near or the same as one at a fraction of the price. It's not got a great deal of weight to it but I must say it looks like it was made well.

Not brilliant, but not bad either.
Bad - The holes will take a 0.5mm propelling pencil, but it then creates quite a heavy line on timber. If you're working to precise tolerances, these lines will be just too heavy.Good - Feels nice and "weighty", feels solid and well made. If you're looking for reasonable accuracy, then it's pretty good and easy to read off the marking.Would I buy again? Yes, I think I would, as it's a useful little tool to have in your kit box.

Well machined precision tool.
This is a great piece of kit that is better built that its price tag suggests.

good and accurate
no problems, you need a mechanical pencil to use as the holes are so small.

Handy size
Nice size , the red finish stands out on a busy work surface. Reasonable cost.

Holes too small
I’m afraid I returned this, it’s tiny and the holes are almost impossible to make any markings, especially if your using a pencil, I guess a marking gauge tool of some description would work, but I wanted something I could use with a pencil. It jag work for others but not for me.
