Very sturdy and adjusts well. My junior high athlete uses this at its highest setting often. I don't have any concerns about it collapsing. It is a bit heavy. However, it seems like a solid build.

I love this plyo box. VERY sturdy!! I'm a 225lb male and I use this for box jumps, weighted step-ups, and as a depth measure for heavy barbell squats. It is used in my garage on a concrete floor. It doesn't slide at all when I hop on it. Again, really sturdy - no give at all. I use this box for one thing or another in almost every workout. I wasn't expecting to do that. But it's just so useful. I was worried about buying it based on the reviews about that thin metal bar that keeps the bench height locked. Yes, it is thin metal but it doesn't support any weight and is absolutely ample thickness for the job it does. Don't let these reviews sway you. The person who bent theirs... well, I don't know how that could happen (special I guess). FYI, the easiest way to change height is to put the plyo box on it's back (so the adjustment bar is facing up). It's pretty simple.

After researching several plyo boxes, I eventually decided to give this model a try. The price was higher than I was initially planning to spend, but the ability to have four heights made it more cost effective than potentially buying four fixed height boxes. I also considered building my own plyo box or using a 4-in-1 kit box sold on here. My concern with the wooden box was the stability on the higher heights. When the Stamina box arrived, I was surprised at how sturdy and stable it is. Plenty of room on the top platform and solidly built. My son told me that this is nicer than the fixed height boxes they use in the high school weight room. The height adjustment took a bit to get used to, but once I found the leverage point it's pretty easy. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this to other family or friends.

This is a solid squat, step-up, jump platform. It is easily height adjustable, and appears to be very good quality as expected based on reviews and price. There really is only one suggested improvement, as ( am using it on carpet: why not widen the stance for increased stability? The unit is solid on a hard surface but tends to tilt/wobble on carpet, which would be easily remedied by a wider stance or wider stance adjustment option. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

So far so good with vendor and item. Received the Stamina X Plyo Box the first day of the timeframe stated for delivery. Packaging and item arrived in excellent condition. The plyo box itself is easy to adjust, very sturdy, appears well-made. I used it in a workout with box jumps right away, and it doesn't budge, slip or sway. (Granted, I am a lightweight person, so I don't know how it would hold up under use by a heavier athlete, although from other reviews I read before I purchased it, it looks like it performs fine for larger folks.) I look forward to a lot of workouts with this!

AWESOME PLYO BOX OPTION!!! This piece is a must have for those wishing to have their own set up at home for cross training or CrossFitt styled workout sessions. This piece is extremely sturdy and worth every penny! I had been shopping for a good plyo box option and found it with this one! The greatest feature(beside it being super sturdy and nonslip), is that it is adjustable and you needn't have more than one! The only CON I see it that if you are LATEX SENSITIVE, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM! The piece on the top is a large latex pad, and those who have a latex allergy should avoid it. As a nurse, I understand the serious nature of the latex issue, and I hope that the developers/creators of the box, come up with a better solution for the anti-slip top section. I have no personal problems with latex, so it is not a problem for me...Anyway, I LOVE IT!!!

This is one of the best quality products I have ever purchased. PERIOD. It is superbly made, extremely safe, easy to adjust and looks fantastic. It is as solid as anything in my local gym. It weighs a good 35-40 pounds. Plyo jumps at the 24" setting are as solid as jumping on top a granite block. It is that sturdy.Yesterday I was doing step-ups with a 135 pound barbell across my shoulders (I weigh 175) at the 16" setting. The Stamina X didn't groan, moan, sway, shake or otherwise compilation. This is one serious piece of gym equipment.

I got this plyo box in the morning and incorporated it into my leg workout the same evening. After doing deadlifts, I did step ups and bulgarian split squats to supplement that leg work and found the plyo box to be super stable. I had no trouble figuring out how to adjust the height of it and am very happy with the quality overall. Time will tell, but it feels so sturdy handling the force that I exert on it, that I am confident that it will last for a long time. I can't wait to move into the power phase of my year and do the exercises that it is made to endure. Please comment to ask me to give an update on how it is holding up, if you would like to know.

This Plyo Box is really impressive. It's sturdy, stable and the height is easy to adjust. My wife and I have been using it everyday for the past month and I have no complaints. You get a great product for your money that will last you for a long time.

Heavy steal (able to handle a lot of abuse), well built (stable at any height), and covered with a thick coat of quality oil-based paint (will not rust easily). Will last forever = worth every penny!

Extremely good workout tool; it's sturdy and reliable; at 40 pounds, it is stable and offers a firm anchorage. I use it regularly and it does not require a lot of time to make the transition between heights. 200$ for a 4 in 1 plyo box ? it is a bargain, given the quality of the product.
