GREAT QUALITY BARELY
This Barley is too good..!! Price wise and quality wise.. It's much lesser price compared to any other shops who sell barely.. We have been using barley since decades.. Most of the barely comes with powder like thing coated.. So I was expecting this one also to be like that.. And when I opened the packet, it looked nothing like white stuff on it.. It looked pale.. I was like, "Oh, is it really good or not good..?!" But thought of cooking it and see.. After cooking, it came up really as good stuff.. Without any added preservatives and no other smell..!!👌And grains also big in size.. But you need to cook for a little longer if you want the grains to be soft.. I usually do that always.. Correct method of cooking barely is, *wash them like we wash rice and soak them overnight..* *Cook them in the cooker with sufficient water.. Like 1 cup barley, 3 cups water.. (more water than what we use to cook rice) After the first whistle, sim the gas and cook for another 10 mins, let it be with 3 to 4 whistles more... Once you open it, add salt and little more water if you want and mix it well.. (or sugar as per ur choice) and enjoy..!! FYI:Barley is too good for your health.. It has many vitamins, minerals, protein and Fibre.. It helps reduce obesity, cholesterol, blood sugar, heart disease and some type of cancers.. You can even feed it to your 6 months old baby.. Heard that, in ancient times, (Thousands of years ago, especially in Egypt and Rome) people used to feed the barley water even to new born babies who's mothers did not have breast milk.. That means, it's nutriticious, soft on our stomach and no other side effects.. It's one of the first cultivated grains by humans...

Good quality
It's of a perfect quality. I love to make porridge from pearl barley. However, in Russia this grain is cheaper ( you can get 1 kg for the current price of 500 g).
