Anne Klein Women's Newport Stripe Day Dress

What nice fabric...so soft and pretty. I especially appreciate the neckline and hemline; the fitted waist is so feminine, too. Lining is well constructed and prevents worries about "see-throughness". A few nice accessories and some light blue wedge sandals and I am good to go all kinds of places in this dress.

So cute and comfortable. I'm normally an 8/10. Ordered an 8, would definitely need a 6, but decided it's not my style.

I really like this dress, as the design lines are very flattering, and the double buckled belt is of good quality and is a nice added touch! Because of someone's excellent previous review posting, I knew it would be lined, too. :) Invisible zipper, also! The dress is pretty true to size, but I found the cut of the cap sleeve too high, which is sort of unflattering, as it does not intersect with the side seam, but intersects above, exposing your skin from your underarm to almost your bra line. That is why I gave it four stars, instead of five. Also, know that it is dry clean only. I did touch it up with a slightly warm iron, though it says not to iron, because it was a bit too wrinkled to wear for the next day's event. I love the length; bought a size 12, and I'm 5'6." Looking forward to more wearings -- and toning up my arms!

I love this dress. Material is soft and comfortable. Perfect for work. It is SO FLATTERING from the front view. However, I have a large rear end and large hips and the side and back views don't hide them. I'm keeping it anyway. I really love it.

Unfortunately this dress has a very short torso. I did like the length of the skirt which hit my knee caps but Im a tall (5'10") person who normally wears a size 8-10 in jeans and although the dress fit me, the sewn waist was too high (hit me just under rib cage about 2" above my navel) so the pleated skirt plumed out above my hips making me look pregnant with huge hips. Also the capped sleeves/shoulders really limited arm movement. I will be sending this back.

Nicely made - well tailored - fits as expected size-wise and a great "day" dress.

I love this dress. it is good for work or just a weekend out and about. it's light weight and very flattering for girls with butts and hips.
