This was recommended as a replacement for the Jason brand fragrance free line of hair carw after they discontinued it. I'm giving it a 4 star review because it doesn't leave hair as soft and tangle free as the Jason shampoo did, but it's pretty non-toxic (i don't have any systemic reaction to it and I react to just about everything) and it comes close enough. Also, great price. If I hadn't used Jason, i would give this 5 stars. Now that my FF body wash was also discontinued, i will probably use this as a body soap as well. It's not drying like castille.

I have been looking for good, orange scented shampoo/conditioner for years! I used to buy some from Jhirmack but haven't found a good replacement since they stopped selling it years ago. I have tried other expensive orange shampoos but didn't like them for one reason or another. I have even bought the orange scent to add to fragrance free shampoo. I just love the smell of oranges for some reason! Anyway, when I found this shampoo at the price and in a gallon jug? Wow!! And most of the reviews were good so I bought the bullet and purchased it. I figured I could always use it as hand soap if I didn't like the shampoo. It also has a pretty, vibrant color to it. I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I love this shampoo! It smells wonderful! And although some other reviews said it didn't lather well, I find it is a perfect lather for me. It did leak a bit in shipping, but that has nothing to do with the product itself, and the amount lost was pretty insignificant. Will definitely buy again!!

I use this shampoo as a hand soap in the Dispenser. It foams perfectly in the hands and cleanses the skin. It has no pungent or strong odor. I am very happy with this choice.

lathers up after the first wash. plain. simple. serves as the matrix for a few drops of tea tree oil. i didn't really appreciate buying expensive so-called tea tree shampoos only to find i was washing my hair with minty mouthwash instead. this will work for me. thinking of trying out some other natural additives.
