they do leak, you just need to put two washers on both ends and that should fix the problem. Don't use tape. Remember two washers on each side.

I recently purchased a power washer in order to get our patio ready for summer and needed an adapter for to connect the hose to the indoor tap. After a couple attempts, tons of research and buying/sending back wrong adapters, I came across this. I found a work around where I could connect the hose right to the cold water supply under the kitchen sink.So I had a 3/4 connection on one end of the hose to connect to the supply, but I also needed one on the other end to connect to the power washer. That's where these beauty's come in. I only needed the female/female adapter, so I can't speak on the male/male effectiveness, but the one I needed works perfectly.For those complaining about it leaking/not being sturdy etc. in order to fix this, you just need to apply an extra washer on each end and put some plumbers tape on the threads. Creates a PERFECT and leak proof seal.

I have only used the F-F connector, it leaked at first because it wasn't tight enough....would be much better if the tightening rings were hex.They can be fully tightened if you have some OLD rubber, leather or maybe cloth to remove the metal on metal slippage. It will be tight enough when there's no play between the two ends. (there's a washer in the middle, so they need to be tight enough to make that seal)As others have said, you could also double up the washers.....i'm guessing that's why they're supplied.

These came as described but also they had spare seals. I used this as an adaptor to my karcher. I had to use dour seals for the female to female adaptor but it works absolutely fine. I would buy again.

Useless and waste of money. Don’t bother because it leaks everywhere. To save you the hassle of having to return, buy a different product!
