Electrolux Universal Slimline Dishwasher Cutlery Basket, Light Grey

The bottom of the basket disintegrates when cutlery is dropped in resulting in holes which the cutlery falls through. Within one week of normal use 3 of the 6 sections of the basket have developed holes making the basket un-useable because the cutlery which falls to the floor of the dishwasher then blocks the bottom spray bar from functioning. Useless item which Amazon will only refund if you go to the trouble of packaging it up and returning it to them. For £10 it's not worth all that hassle.

It fits perfectly in my John Lewis slimline dishwasher. I just really wish that I could find a durable cutlery basket. This one is exactly like the other two I had, where the bottom fell out of each of the compartments over the space of a few years. Such a waste of plastic. I looked everywhere for a metal one, or a really durable plastic one. No dice.

Bought this to replace a damaged cutlery holder which lasted several years. It arrived slightly damaged, which was disappointing, however the bottoms started to break within a week and have continued to deteriorate as demonstrated in the photos. Waste of money, avoid this product. I note months later that I woke initially scored this as 1 star, it had since been amended to 5 stars. I have again marked it 1 star. Avoid

A very good replacement

I needed to replace my old one as the utensils were dropping through a hole which took years to appear. Within 2 weeks of using this new one a hole appeared and now I have to be careful that I only put larger spoons in that section so the forks etc don't fall through. Might as well have kept the old one :(

This item is great, exactly what I wanted and great for the price. No delivery charge to pay either because it went to the delivery hub, 5 minutes from my house.

I bought this as a replacement for my previous cutlery basket which lasted six years before needing replacing. This Electrolux one is cheap and nasty. It’s lasted two dishwasher cycles. After the first one, the side split and after the second, holes appeared in the bottom allowing the cutlery to fall through. It’s rubbish and not fit for purpose. The plastic is nowhere near durable enough. I’ve now had to purchase another one - not Electrolux.

Bought this to replace a broken one of the same design. This one also broke in the exact same way within weeks (one of the feet broke away from the bottom mesh).

Bought this to replace a cutlery basket where the floor had perished. After just one use, the floor began to break away from the walls and cutlery began to fall through. Just over a month later and four of the eight compartments are useless as the floors have disintegrated. It's going in the bin and I'm looking for another option.

Binnen een week zaten er gaten in de bodem, doordat het bestek erdoorheen ging. Waardeloos.
