Try it, you'll love it.
Highly recommend. It does not make you push far more but definitely helps. The biggest thing I noticed however was how much better my shoulders feel when using it. Currently able to do 4 sets of 235 for 4. Wasn't able to finish the last set. Usually get 3. First time trying the band and I was able to do 245 for 4 sets of 4. Still had to push hard and don't think I could have gone much higher for working sets. Will definitely be using this from here on out.

Five STARS !
The Mark Bell Original Sling Shot Level 3 is an excellent training tool for anyone looking to improve their bench press and handle heavier weight with better control. The material feels durable, supportive, and comfortable during use. It provides strong assistance through the most difficult portion of the lift while still requiring proper technique and effort. The Level 3 resistance is especially useful for experienced lifters who want to overload their bench press, build confidence under heavier weight, or continue training while reducing stress on the shoulders. The fit is secure, and the product feels well constructed. Overall, this is a high quality resistance band that performs exactly as expected. Highly recommended for serious strength training.

Extremely optimistic
I don't review often but I love this thing. I've seen it and debated buying for months now. I've plateued at 285. Good for my size but as always, trying to get stronger. Used it once and its awesome. Definitely a great tool. I benched 315 twice with it. 295x5 with it. I use it to max out and do more, then take it off and do it without. 225x8 alone and then 225x15 with it. As far as getting me stronger and break thru my ceiling, time will tell but im very optimistic and for the first-time in a while, I had such a chest pump and was shaky after because the slingshot really pushed me and gave me the confidence to go heavier and no be as scared to fail.

Great tool for lifting heavier
Iโm about 185lbs, 5โ7โ, not a big but have maybe what people would consider a sporty build. I got a Large and it feels pretty tight on my biceps. I feel like I shouldโve gone a size up but thatโll probably be too big. Other than the fit, this has definitely helped me tremendously. I was working my way back up to benching 225 and was stuck at about 215 for a while and this easily took me over that bump to where I can probably bench 235. I do fear that it might hinder growth though so Iโll probably alternate throughout the week. Iโd definitely recommend this though since it allows you to bench more, isnโt viewed as cheating, and helps your joints especially if youโre over the hill.

So GOOD it feels like cheating
All I gotta say is "WOW". My Instagram algorithm is obviously targeting me perfectly with their recent ads. For this product, they said, "Are you stuck at 225? Well, this product is for you." I thought, "this is most definitely me", but with promises of immediate gainz, I was skeptical and figured it would just be another social media influenced purchase that I would regret. I saw all the positive reviews and decided to try it out. Before using this product, I struggled to put up 225 more than 4 total reps after which I would do a more functional workout at a lower weight. I tested this product first with just the bar, and then 135, and it was definitely a weird feeling. It literally feels like as you push the weight up, it's "sling shotting" up. I moved up to 225 and was able to do 3 sets of 8 reps. Let's just say, I'm freaking impressed and am now really looking forward to chest day and seeing how high this aid will help me get. Couple of notes: 1. I almost feel as though this thing is cheating somehow 2. incline felt more difficult - initially I couldn't get the bar all the way down to my chest (though I eventually worked this issue out); also I'm not sure if it was because my chest was shot by that point due to the heavy flat bench workout or just because my body just isn't quite used to the motion yet but I found it tougher to adjust to the new feeling

First workout was awesome!
I'm fighting back from a injury that kept me from lifting more than 365 for almost 1.5 years. I'm starting to do better but having some shoulder issues from the same event lifting heavy was flaring them up. Today I warmed up with this and then did all my presses in it. I ended up doing working sets of 365*8, which felt so good I went straight to 405 for three sets of 4, then 385*5, and 315*12. My usual sets have been more like 365*5, 385*3, 405*1 for a few sets. This was mostly because of the pain I would feel during the lift making me bail. With the Sling Shot my shoulders did great and I was not having the pain I have been which allowed me to push harder. I also used this on incline and though I was a bit doubtful I'd like it there, I did. Did four sets of 225*15 and again didn't have the shoulder pain I was. My usual sets were up to 225 for 10 but lately I was having to drop weight because of the pain.... Not anymore! Being injuried I still didn't press like I normally would have and I'm not fighting for one or two more reps per set, but with the Sling Shot I certainly did better than I had been. I was confident using the device and it certainly gave me an improved lifting experience making me feel like this will help get me over the hump. I think this will get me back up and running quicker and I'll start to use it less as it's intended once I get father down the road of my rebuild. If you're dealing with an injured shoulder I highly recommend this device. I went with the Full Boar in 3XL after reading to go up a size if your arms are larger than 17.5 inches. This suggestion was spot on. My arms are around 18.5 and the 3XL fits well. It was a bit hard to get on high once sweaty but not terrible. I tried it high and at the elbow and liked both methods fine but found just passed the elbow worked best for me. It certainly fit snug but was not uncomfortable in the least. I think I made the right choice.

Donโt think just get it!
I donโt know why Iโve never had one but if youโre thinking about it get it. Not only does it improve my form for my shoulder but Iโm able to easily add 50lbs to my bench and get that arm bulging feeling after a workout. Iโm 6โ2 230lbs with an XL size. It sits just above my elbows and not digging into my armpits but I get a slight pinching from the fabric. Nothing to put me off from using it. Strong elastic band built to last. Highly recommend.

Unbelievable!!
I definitely was skeptical before purchasing. Iโve always had a shoulder impingement, which made bench pressing and dips a huge issue for me. So I figured if it doesnโt work for me, Iโll just send it back. Let me tell you that I have never been more impressed with a piece of workout equipment than I am with this product!!. I did not feel any pain whatsoever in my shoulder!! Actually, it really truly felt like I was cheating because the weight was literally going up so easy. I got it at 10 PM at night and I went downstairs. I had 185lbs on the bench. I didnโt do any warm-up or anything. And without any issue, I pumped out 15 reps and I couldโve kept going, it literally feels like youโre cheating when youโre using this product and I did not have an ounce of shoulder pain. I usually bench 250lbs but I havenโt been able to do it in a long time because of my shoulder. so I work out with 185 to 205 anywhere from 8 to 10 reps. But with this product it is an absolute game changer!!! Iโm telling you if youโre skeptic just buy it and honestly if it doesnโt work out for you. Just send it back for a refund. But I am so impressed with this item. Iโm excited about working out again.

Great Product - Game Changer
Have some sort of deterioration/impingement in right shoulder. I could not not bench over 135 pounds without pain. Got to 310 pounds with this device. As advertised. Great product. Great quality. Game changer for someone with shoulder challenges...now if they only made something for elbows...

Maybe should have gone a size smaller
It's amazing. Really keeps my elbows where they should be. I bought the 3XL because all the reviews were complaining about being too small. I actually think I should have gone a size smaller. The 3XL is tight on my arms and tight across my chest when I'm at the bottom of the press. It just seems a little loose when I'm not at the bottom. If that makes any sense. I don't know how tight it is supposed to be. I'm not complaining, I'm extremely happy with it. I am curious to know what the next size down would feel like though.
