I have a stone border around my lawn, and have never got on with line fed strimmers for doing the edges, as the line always broke every few seconds. So looking for an alternative, and found this fantastic little trimmer. It was relatively easy to assemble, apart from getting the wheels on. There is a small metal rod that goes through the holes at the bottom of the telescopic main stick, and then you push the wheels onto the ends of the rod. However, the metal rod was caught in one of the flaps in the box, once I'd located this it was straightforward (I couldn't see anything in the instructions about the rod).In terms of operation, it was an absolute breeze. Doing the lawn edges is now easy and quick, no more bending down. What used to take 20 minutes now only takes 5 minutes. Have used it four times without recharging (very small lawn), so battery life seems good so far.I wish I had discovered this sooner.

Seems to be good for lawn edging

This is fantastic. I have a metal fence where I cant cut the grass with a lawnmower and a normal wired strimmer would not reach underneath to cut the grass. This is perfect. Cannot recommend it enough. Its easy to use, easy to set up, easy to charge and the charge lasts. I can get all round my front and back garden edges and I have a big garden on the charge. Cuts through everything no problem. Great price also!

Brilliant little garden trimmer. With a telescopic handle and the wheels, the small blade attachment is perfect for trimming the lawn around my shed, a swing as well as doing the edges. I've also used it with the longer blade and without the handle just to give a light trim to some shrubs and my privet hedge and it was absolutely first class. Lightweight and the battery certainly lasted as long as I needed it to. I did have a small issue with the first product I received as it looked as if the box had already been opened so I was concerned whether the product was new or not. Customer service was outstanding and I got a very quick reply and was sent a replacement product. No hesitation to recommend this product/brand!

It was easy enough to assemble and, having fully charged the battery, I attempted to cut the front lawn edges using the long handle attachment. This cutter "cut out" some 50 times, at least, during this process. Now that MAY just be me, as one has to hold in a slide button and the trigger together throughout the cutting process, so I will give it more of a trial before returning it - if I have to. This item was to replace a similar product, from another company, where the irreplaceable battery died after 6 years but also had only half the power. That item ALSO worked on a similar process so I am used to using a battery lawn edge cutter.

I bought this item because every strimmer I have had suffers from continually breaking line. To be honest I had stopped using them and have had a veritable jungle against the walls and mowed edges alongside the paths. This unit takes a lot ore handling than a strimmer but it does the job. Fortunately the unit is quite light and being cordless it is reasonably easy to handle but it does , for me anyway, result in aching wrists. Am I glad I bought it? yes. Would I rather someone else did it for me? yes. I would probably prefer a blade strimmer but they ae too expensive for the job they do.

I am very pleased with this item, easy to use and lightweight, takes the hassle out of trimming the edges of the garden.

Good tools, works well with or without the long handle, so far I have no problem with this
