LOW SWRs
Hooked it up, SWR on channel 1 is 1.0, and channel 40 is 1.3 out of the box. Incoming transmissions are clear, but I haven't been able to establish a range yet.

Worthy purchase
The product feels a little flimsy at first inspection but this antenna works very well for its price point. I’m averaging 4-5 miles amplitude modulation and 8 miles single sideband mobile to mobile communications with a factory stock Uniden Bearcat 980ssb radio.

Was used or a return
It wasn’t advertised as a used or returned item but clearly it was. Opened package and taped to outside of packaging. Set screw missing.

Should be listed as a 54 inch antenna. Not a true 60 inch antenna.
I was looking for a 60 inch base loaded antenna to match an existing 60 inch antenna for a co-phased setup. This antenna's overall length including loading coil is only 54 inches. Amazon's listing should be corrected and Procomm (the manufacturer) should not advertise this model number on their website and catalog as a 60 inch antenna. I wonder if Procomm's 48 inch antenna is really 42 inches. Buyer beware.
