Dr. Parham did a great job with this book! I've quoted this book countless times in several of my papers for school and I see myself continuing to do so in the future. This book is spot on in so many ways and definitely an eye opener to the true history of Africans in America.

Great book very interesting used it for. Psychology class and it is worth reading and it's not for any particular race to read its for general knowledge....

Book had some typos. I suppose most textbooks do...information was helpful in counseling/psychology field and reminds people to stay aware and informed.
