While the dimensions are posted, this item is smaller than I assumed. That aside, the product is vibrant and well constructed with plenty of writing space my my eight year old son. The spacing of the lines on each page are about ideal for a child that is learning to formulate sentences and has driven him to write every day. I would give this product five stars if it was a little larger.

Nice Hard to Find Diary for Boys!
It looks like it will be a nice present for my grandnephew. He is obsessed with notebooks and I think he will love the idea that he can lock this like a diary. Will know more on Christmas Day 😃

This is really small, and not impressive looking. The covers are flimsey. I didn't expect anything from the lock, because it is an inexpensive child's diary, but I did think it would be more than 1/2 inch thick, and that it would have a sturdy cover. The "girly" ones I got, sold on Amazon by a company called "Getting Fit" for about the same price, are much nicer.
