Peerless Battle Spirit: Book 1 - The Awakening Kindle Edition

A good example of a wuxia novel. If you are a fan of this genre i suggest getting it and be rest assured it will leave you wanting more. If you are new to the genre there is some clunkiness to this book that accompanies most of these books but that you can easily get past as the quick paced story drives you on.There are some questions that arise about why the MC with holds certain information for no real reason other than to drive certain plot points but the story is paced well and light enough that I didn't question it all that much. Its a fun read that will have you rooting for the MC.

Very good though its basically almost exactly like other wucia or xianxia stories.In all wuxia and xianxia books the plot goes like this:1) The person has average or poor talent/Is reborn.2) The person gets bullied.3)The person gains extraordinary power never heard of in that world.4)The person bullies the person who had bullied him before.5)The person gains some very lucky encounters and goes to auctions.6)The person fights in a competition and wins first plaouce.7)The person gets noticed by a powerful person or clan.8)The person becomes the disciple of the powerful person or clan.9)The person gets into plenty of fights,has lots of lucky encounters,wins a few competitions,gains some normal friends and some powerful friends and gains the attention of a few elders.Its very good though

The MC is righteous. Who is disrespectfull and going on his bad side, is going to regret it sometime soon. He is pretty cruel but that is fine with me. He is kind to those who is nice with hím though and not event a bit arrogant. He knows what are his strenghts and have confidence In them.The translation and the editing is good, barely saw anything that have to be fixed.

At first I was a bit reluctant to read this, its progression was a bit fast and silly or should I say predictably familiar but way to fast. But as I read threw it, it reminded me of a book I read that took me 3 days to read all packed into this compressed and ridiculously fast paced form. All in all I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'll get the next one and see how it goes. But in not liking this fast pace i think. So yeah 5/10

Love it , can't wait to see what happens next with his new eye sight. The story keeps me going to see what happens.

this story seems more battle oriented then others but i realy enjoyed it. the characters were a wide variety and interesting enough. the main character is calm in his mannerisms which i liked. the story itself, while not anything new, was enjoyable. i wil be waiting for the next book. Thanks Gravity Tales for another good one!

After reading this I would say it's a decent book but doesn't stand out of the crowd of other similar books. The story focuses a lot of its pages on describing how awesome the main character is and how much potential he has.

Very enjoyable read. Probably one of the best. Never a dull moment and the story never drags down with lengthy explanations. Liked the calm, butt-kicking MC, who allows no disrespect. Also, I recommend you read this one. Can't wait for the next one to come out.

I hate how the author decided to use the word 'trash' on more than several occasions. Eventually the word just lost his meaning and the battles became quite repetitive. It would always be a case of the main character's opponent's underestimating him or being terrified of him.It also needed more character development as well as story progression (story didn't feel like it was going anywhere). The characters didn't really make you feel sorry for them and it was hard to relate to the character's.Also, the characters names were very similar and I found it almost impossible to work out who was talking and whether they were a man or a woman. I even got confused about who the main character was on more than one occasion.It may seem that I'm just shitting on this book or being a 'hater' but I'm not.It was just overall a terrible book and had to be one of the worst books I have ever redden.I only gave it a 3 instead of a 1 because I liked the way they described the fight scenes. They had some real vivid and descriptive language, excluding the fact that the dialogue was absolute 'trash.':) See what I did there.Anyway, I do not recommend this book to anyone who's looking for a story, however if you just want to have a meaningless read so that you can make fun of it and feel better about your lives, be my guest.

I now read several books of this type I can say I've enjoyed them and I hope that gravity tales continue to bring out of the series that they going.

It's an interesting concept but reads more like an instruction manual rather than a story. Not enough story to really make it more stars. Though I did read it quickly.Hope it improves.

Angesiedelt in typischer Wuxia-Welt ist die Hauptperson der Sohn eines Clanchefs der in seiner Kindheit deutliches Talent in den Kampfkünsten zeigte und deshalb wird von ihm eine große Zukunft erwartet und er wird von fast allen hofiert. Als bei der Erweckungszeremonie seines Battle Spirits dieser nur den niedrigsten Rang erreicht wodurch er in seiner Entwicklung nur schwer vorankommen würde wird er plötzlich nun von fast allen gemobt. Was er geheim hält ist dass er durch ein Ereignis in seiner Kindheit die Gelegenheit hat diesen Kampfgeist für einen deutlich mächtigeren Kampfgeist auszutauschen welcher außerdem die einzigartige Möglichkeit besitzt weiter aufzuleveln, aber unter großen Kosten. Trotz seines angeblichen Missgeschicks hält sein Vater weiter zu ihm und unterstützt ihn mit Reichtümern, wofür er seine Stellung als Sippenchef nutzt. Der Hauptcharakter wird nun von vielen angefeindet und dadurch in Kämpfe verwickelt. Seine tatsächlichen Fähigkeiten zeigt er nur immer im gerade nötigen Maße. Obwohl er anscheinend nicht zu stark auffallen will um das tatsächliche Potential seines Battle Spirits zu offenbaren tritt er doch im weiteren Verlauf der Reihe immer arroganter auf und sucht und provoziert auch Konfrontationen welche nicht nötig gewesen wären. Weiteres Manko ist dass es zur Zeit fraglich ist ob weitere Bücher folgen werden da von Gravityville heuer noch keine Neuerscheinungen veröffentlicht wurden obwohl die Übersetzer deutlich weiter sind, teilweise sind sie auf andere Seiten ausgewichen.

This really is looking epic in scope , totally recommend and am looking forward to book 2. Also looking forward to how the martial spirit develops
