It's a knife
The case fell apart after two days use. It also took several hours to sharpen it correctly

Great belt knife!
Wonderful little Belt knife! I have carried this for years on my belt. Pretty sure the 1st one I ever got was in some gas station decades ago. When I discovered that Amazon had it, I instantly ordered 2 more!

About to get another one!
I was given this knife as a gift maybe 5 years ago. It's been a fantastic knife on many hikes, hunting and camping trips. Its served as kitchen knife and have skinned/processed game with it. Feels solid in the hand and keeps a good edge. Most recently my wife has expressed interest in getting a knife for herself for our adventures, and I handed her this one for a task. She immediately said she really enjoyed using it, and that it was comfortable to use. Shes small and has small hands. I do not have small hands and its comfortable for me too.

It's A Nice Purchase.
It's a decent knife, more of a camp tool than a hunting knife. The blade comes well refined and sharp. The handle is well crafted and eye appealing, though just doesn't feel right when in your hand--being a little on the smaller side. The sheath is well made and a perfect fit for the knife, making it feel secure.Ultimately, it's a nice purchase.

Poor handle design, good sharp blade
Because of the handle shape there really is only one grip you can use with this knife, and even then you need to have incredibly small hands to comfortably hold the handle, which is far too slim. There is no swell in the handle, meaning cramp, blisters and fatigue will result from any kind of prolonged use. The shape of the handle means using a chest-lever grip for fine, controlled cutting is all but impossible. The 420 stainless steel is also rather brittle, which means the tip is likely to snap off. This is precisely what happened to me, but a little re-shaping of the blade into a more prominent drop gave it more strength and I've had no problems since. On the plus side; this knife was acceptably sharp out of the box, and it takes (and holds) a surprisingly good edge. It really can be honed to shaving sharpness - you can pop hairs with this thing after a fair amount of TLC on some good stones. The stainless steel is very corrosion resistant which - combined with the potential of a good edge - means it's perfect for food prep around camp. The sheath is perfectly serviceable, but the belt-loop sits next to the blade which makes it a little uncomfortable to wear when sitting. If you can remove the handle scales and make yourself a custom grip then this would probably make an acceptable camping tool.I use two heavy duty Mora's when camping these days (one carbon, one stainless, depending where I'm heading) but this knife stays in my wannigan to be used for food prep when I'm staying at a fixed camp. It's always in there and gets a lot of use. The keen edge, stainless blade and handle shape means it slices through meat like a dream; perfect for butchering small game and preparing meat for smoking. Mind those bones when butchering though; the edge is fairly brittle and can be chipped by an overly enthusiastic butcher.Overall - this is the best budget knife I've bought, but that is only because I found a specific use for it. Not a good all-rounder, but takes a decent edge for the price. I didn't expect much from this knife, and have been surprised and frustrated with it in equal measure.
