Wonderful book on house blessings and Energy..How space effects us and how our energy effect the space we live and dwell in...Love this book...you can read it in sections...you dont have to just set down and read from front to back..in my opinion its a better read that way..to digest and think about what you read...

I have read many books on creating sacred space and I have to say that Denise Linn's book is my favorite. Yes she does blend traditions from different faith paths, so if that bothers you (as a reviewer mentioned) then this probably won't be for you. But if you are open to seeing the mystical in everyday life and don't consider that too "woo-woo" then this book is a superb reference for anyone wanting to "purify" a house or apartment before moving in (never a bad idea) or even when you stay in a hotel room. (if you do not want to burn candles or smudge sticks in the hotel due to the smoke detectors, there are flameless options, such as "smudge sprays" and/or using essential oils, etc.) I am an interfaith minister and a "regular" conventional person, but I do believe in energy. You don't have to be "far out" to use these methods. I have also had countless people comment on how peaceful and loving my office feels. Too many people (even those who normally do not believe in such "nonsense" as "good energy") have remarked on it for me to think it doesn't have a real effect on people. I can sincerely say that if you want to buy only one book on this topic, this would be the book.

I have found this book extremely helpful. It is a fantastic guidebook with lots of wonderful ideas. I appreciate her reassuring tone and grounded and inspiring techniques for making our home a sacred space. I feel as if it has helped us to really claim our new house as our own.

As a shamanic practitioner, I have been performing space cleansings and blessings for quite some time. But if I ever think I know it all, I might as well quit.I have listened to the audiobook of this title, but like to have print copies of some books for notes and such. This print copy is a little newer than the audiobook, so that's a plus.

This book has an incredible amount of detail to everything you might need for a house clearing before moving into a new home! Also set up your home to bring good energy. What to do about those odd spaces and corners! Numerology for your address and other things. How to energize your living space to bring the most desirable effects. And a whole lot more. I highly recommend this book to those looking to clear the energy of an old house, or simply to recreate the energy flow.

i find myself coming back to this book for tips on how to cleanse the space in my home and reaffirm my place in the grand scheme of things.There is no one way to dispel negative thoughts or energies the author provides options so I can choose what I need for the now which may change tomorrow.Thank you, Denise, for sharing your knowledge.

This was too intense for me. I think I was looking for something a little more Feng Shui and this was really into ceremonies, etc. Probably a great book if that's what I wanted but it was just too much for me.
