SAVE THE DARK!
These light bulbs and their amber color are excellent choices for outdoor lighting. Bright white light outdoors creates unnecessary light pollution that is harmful to wildlife. Fight light pollution, eliminate unnecessary lighting, use low wattage and amber lights wherever possible. Point lights down not up and use motion detectors wherever possible.

Finally found what I’d been looking for
Really love the soft low glow of these and so happy they are not contributing so much to light pollution. Perfect!

Lasted 1 year
I liked the color temperature and amount of light these put out but they lasted only 1 year. We had them on timers at exterior doors so they were on prob 8-9 hours a night but even then, they should have lasted about 3-6 years.
