The finishing step that actually makes the difference
I used this after sanding my board down and applying mineral oil and this was the finishing step that tied it all together. The beeswax seals everything in and gives the surface a water wicking effect that the oil alone doesn't fully do. Water just beads right off now. Goes on easy and buffs out smooth. The board has a nice subtle sheen to it without looking overdone. All natural ingredients so no worries about it being in contact with food which is obviously the whole point with a cutting board. If you already oil your board regularly this is the next step you should be taking. Sand, oil, then finish with this and your board will look brand new and hold up a lot longer for it.

Great Product! Buy it!
From the product: "INGREDIENTS Natural unbleached bee's wax and food grade mineral oil." Also, "...For best results let the cream soak into the wood overnight, then remove the excess with a paper towel." Ignore that instruction. You will need to do it more than once. That's not a bad thing, it's just unusual seeing the instructions for a product tell me to use too little, instead of too much. I used this on a new bamboo cutting board. It worked great and really soaked in well. But don't plan on using the cutting board for a day or two after you first start treating it. A new board will really soak this up, and you want to err on the side of too much (which you can wipe off) versus too little (which may leave the board insufficiently treated). My board is 11-3/4" x 15-3/4" x 1-1/2", bamboo, with rubber feet on the bottom. I treated the bottom and side of the board first, leaving a little extra coating on it. Then I placed the board on a layer of paper towels to minimize how much I might have to clean up from my kitchen counter. After I rubbed the cream into the top, I left it to stand overnight. In the morning, I was still able to rub more in. I checked back every couple of hours and rubbed in more. I kept finding a few spots that could absorb more of the cream, so I covered the whole thing again. Don't wipe it off until you are absolutely sure it can't absorb any more. By then, you'll have very little excess cream, and you'll basically buff it off with the paper towel. Your board will be darker, and look beautiful. You'll want to leave it out on the counter, it will look so good. I bought two of these creams thinking I would use a whole tube on my brand new cutting board. But, in writing this review, I stopped to weigh the two tubes (using a digital scale we have) to see how much I used. The unopened tube weighed 6.0 ounces, and the tube I used weighed 5.0 ounces. All of that cream I used as described above, and I still only used 1.0 ounce (by weight). The cream is measured in the tube by fluid ounces, but at this small a size, it really is close. So I used 1/5 of the tube on a brand new cutting board, and won't have to use an ounce every time I treat the board after cleaning. Great deal. I apologize for the long review, but I hope this helps you make your decision on which product to buy. This one has just what the websites say is great for your cutting board. I am really happy with it.

Board looks great now!
I got the oil and the cream, I'm leaving the same review for both as these products are a system and meant to be used together. First, I try to treat my cutting board regularly. I have another board oil that I had been using, but the quality is clearly much lower than this stuff! The oil is runny, but thick at the same time. It rubs in well and my board absorbed it well. After 12 hours, I wiped away what little excess oil there was, and applied the cream. After oiling the board well, I didnt need too much of the cream, but it still covered the wood well and was absorbed by the wood. The cream is thicker, but still easy to work into the wood. The visual difference is so stark, seeing what I thought was a board needing routine oiling, and a board that was well treated. I have an old JA Henckels cutting board, and it looks phenomenal now. The wood previous looked kind of light brown, but now the color is deeper and warmer. My board doesnt look greasy, just warm and softer.

First time using this product. So far, impressed with the results.
This is the first time I've used this product, but I have been conditioning my boards for a long time with mineral oil and recently with a paste of beeswax and oil. This product is less messy and easier to apply than plain mineral oil and much easier to apply than the paste I had been using previously. So far, I am very happy with the results and would definitely purchase more. I have applied this product to three of my wooden cutting boards (one bamboo, one maple, and one mystery wood). I rubbed each one with this product and let them sit overnight. In the morning, I rubbed a bit more on and then wiped off any excess that evening. Each of the boards has darkened a little and the woodgrain looks nice. There is a bit of a finish that has been created and the boards seem a bit more resilient to wear than they did before. Water definitely beads off them, as expected, and they don't feel as oily as they had in the past after a mineral-oil only treatment.

Klare Empfehlung!

Keeps things nice ..
I presume this has worked well, because my chopping boards are in fine fettle! Interestingly I needed to find food grade beeswax for a stone [jasper] bowl which I'd bought. I hadn't realised this cream was food-grade beeswax until then, so I'm using it for other things now. You don't need a lot, so it lasts quite a time.
