Some very heavy reading!
I was nearly overwhelmed by the sheer size of this volume; it's nearly 4 inches thick and weighs several pounds. But the information inside is why we buy the book, and it doesn't disappoint on than count either. Although this is pretty expensive for a Numismatic reference, I felt I received my money's worth. The book in organized alphabetically and is extremely easy to use, even for a beginner in the area of German coins and the German States coinage going back to 1501 AD. I have several German States coins which I purchased recently, and they were very easy to find and read their descriptions. The pricing information is probably not terribly useful, but tends to give a relative scarcity and value estimate. After all, this is primarily a reference more than a guide to values. Highly recommended for all interested in this area of numismatics.

German Coins
This updated Catalog ranges for 1500s to today. It is a great resource book with written descriptions, estimated values, and many photos of coins. It is a must for a collector of German coins.
