DisguiseWomen's Disney Sleeping Beauty Maleficent Deluxe Costume

I read the reviews for this before I ordered it so I knew what to expect. The costume fits great and I am a 10-12 but there is plenty of extra space ;) It falls to the floor and looks like the picture. The headdress is not 3D but just foam, and you would need to find some way to support it so it stays up (I plan on ordering another headdress, that best fits what I want) The quality of it is great and I plan to wear this for a while, fun colors and matches the original Maleficent well. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

After extensive research, this is the only Maleficent costume I could find based on the original Disney character- not the modern Angelina Jolie version. I wear a size 8 and was worried this would be too big but the costume was only offered in large on every site so I went with Amazon since they were the cheapest. I'm glad I did! The costume is very light and colorful. It is not heavy material nor is it super high quality but It does fit well since the character herself wears this lose and I am overall very happy with the look and the product. I purchased a different hat as reviewers suggested and threw the one that came with this (a complete joke) promptly in the trash. I purchased a glowing staff to go with it and the look is complete. My family was very impressed and we will be wearing our costumes in Disney's Halloween party this october.

Edited 13 years later: I used some black felt to reinforce the headpiece and this costume has worked great! I ordered the raven staff and get so many compliments! I love it that you can easily throw it on over regular clothes. My mom has borrowed it a few times. It’s gotten a lot of wear over the years and still looks great.It is pretty much a one size fits all unless you are very small or very big, but I am "average" (5'6", and "average" weight") and it fits me fine. The hat piece is flimsy but I plan to fix it up the way another reviewer suggested (THANKS!!!) and it isn't as well sewn, the point that comes down in the middle is not well matched/uneven, so I will have to fix that and trim the hanging thread. Also there is no way to keep the neck piece up or attach it to the hat piece... With a little work this should make an excellent costume I can use year after year or share with friends and family. This year my daughter is planning to be sleeping beauty so we should be a cute little team!

I loved the Maleficent costume. I loved how it fits perfectly! Also I really loved that it was delivered to me 6 days earlier than I thought, which is exactly what I expect. I'm gonna be using this Maleficent costume as my Halloween costume for Halloween this year.

Like the other reviewers, I must agree that the headpiece is terrible. It is made out of a very thin foam. In other words, it's not 3 dimensional. For that reason, and because it comes folded when packaged, it does not stand up properly. I have ordered another headpiece for this costume. Because the headpiece is terrible, you're really only paying for the gown/robe. The gown/robe is okay and will fit most standard sizes since it is not fitted. However, the price of $50 is kinda high when only the gown/robe is really usable.

Love it , excellent costume. I bought a XL and Iam 5.7 in tall . Fits perfectly. Quality is good

This product is awesome - as far as the suit. It runs big so buyer beware (size Lg can fit up to 2X) However, the headpiece is terrible. You will have to buy a separate head piece so keep that in mind when determining what you want to spend on your entire outfit.

We picked this up for my wife who will be wearing it to the Disneyland Halloween party with me and the kids...The costume looks excellent, but...As stated in other reviews, the hat/horns, not so great. They are made of a flimsy black foam which is thin, cheap looking and won't hold it's shape. We read all the other reviews and went ahead and ordered the hat/horns separately from another seller here on Amazon at the same time as ordering the costume. Good thing we did, the reviews were all accurate. Regardless, the combo of the two make it an excellent costume which will certainly be a hit and even after buying the hat/horns separately the price was more than fair. Sorry for the 4 stars but the hat/horns that come with it make it less than perfect...Add the extra $16 hat/horns that we purchased separately and it gets 5 stars all day long...
