These are perfect. As one reviewer states, the lights are either on or off... that is totally not an issue. These lights are more 5500k-6000k; however, they do not overpower at all. If I need a little less light, I just use one. These are perfect for my rack and work very well. For $30, you cannot beat them. We shall see how they last in the long run, but I bet they’ll be great!

This is a good product at a reasonable price. I replaced a Furman unit that used a pair of 5W 12V incandescent lights that would burn out every 30 days...at about $7 or 8 per pair this light should pay for itself in a year. Note the LED color is cool white, very close to daylight, which actually works great in my edit suite and color grading environment where all lighting is 6500K anyway. Just note that if you like the ultra-warm glow of incandescent, this is not the right light for you and I'm unaware of any LEDs that are that warm.Also note that while I'm very satisfied with the brightness, these are not dimmable. They have a small switch on each gooseneck. That's my one wish for improvement---put a dimmer on them!

Installed a few of these for countertop lighting around a video broadcast control room. These work great for bright white light right where you need it. Only bummer is how deep the inset goes. In a nice, neat rack appearance, this causes some unsightly gaps between rack-mounted equipment.

Not horrible, but did not meet my needs. As other have already mentioned, it does not dim. It is either on or off. The big deal breaker for me is that it runs on 5V. I'm building a rack with everything else powered by 12V, so this just did not work for me.
