GUNNAR - Premium Premium Gaming and Computer Glasses - Blocks 65% - 98% Blue Light - Intercept

After owning these for a while I can definitely say they do what they set out to do. Only thing I wish is that they made a wrap around style of these. These took away my headaches and eye strain while gameing. I found them especially usefull when I first wake up and I have to go some where that requires me to drive during the day. I'd definitely give this product for what it is a 10/10. If they ever make a wrap around style of these ill have to pick them up.

The frame and lenses seem to be made with high quality, strong material. These glasses fit great and the lenses are a decent size to cover your eyes and block potentially damaging light. I have trouble sleeping at night and have read that the blue light from computer/phone screens and the flicker rate from LEDs mess up your sleep and nightly healing processes by affecting your melatonin production. I decided to give these a try because I unfortunately have a lot of screen time. Only downside is that I need glasses to see clearly and these don't fit over my glasses, also when I try to overlay them over my glasses all the coatings and bifocal levels in my glasses conflict with the coatings in the Gunnar shades and make it blurry and uncomfortable to see through. It's nothing against the Gunnar shades, they are doing what they are designed to do. I can use them fine without my glasses to watch TV or other tasks besides up-close computer and phone usage

Fit is fantastic. The ambermax is just too dark for me. I’m having trouble using them in my office. Also no sticker. Gunnar needs to add a sticker. I will keep them for if I get a head ache or something.

Great feel/fit, look/aesthetic, weight, build quality, and most importantly, great effect! Another nice thing is the protective pouch they come with - this thing feels very premium as well. I picked up the onyx amber and onyx amber max. Obviously the amber max have darker lenses, making them feel more appropriate for evening/nighttime use, whereas the regular ambers are perhaps better suited for daytime use. Although I'm not sure how important it is to have blue light reduction during the day. I think blue light from screens contributes to wakefulness and so if it's light outside then I don't see the need to prevent the wakefulness of blue light from screens. But also I think just looking at screens for prolonged periods can contribute to eye fatigue. So yea overall I'm 100% satisfied with both the onyx and onyx max and would highly recommend them.
