Age Perfect Permanent Hair Color, 9N Light Natural Blonde, 1 kit

Easy to use. Covers gray. The color is perfect, but I started with the same color as what is shown on the box except I had dark and gray roots.

I mix it with another shade, both of which are blonde. But beware if you mix hair color with any box that says "Ash", that it may darken your hair more than the shade on the box. My stylist warned me of this when I told her my color came out too dark. Ash definitely leans towards darker. It seemed to take longer to wash out as well. If when you dye your hair and it's too dark, consider washing it out with very warm to mildly hot water to strip some of the darkness. Once you leave the color on your hair for a few days, it's not likely to lighten up much, so maybe within a day or less if you want to reduce darkness or some color that you don't care for. True also if you use any of the browns. It happened to me with even the medium to light browns. If you're wanting to reduce brassiness (red tones), you may want to try half with ash shade and keep the other color a neutral if you mix them together. But if you want reddish tones, don't use Ash at all. Also, I found any of the champagne blonde or browns tended to make my hair a little pinkish. Since I have graying hair, it also tends to take on reddish tones when I color it. I try to always wear a hat when in the sun for very long, as the sun will redden your hair as well. Take it from someone who has learned the hard way. I do prefer L'Oreal Excellence for covering gray hair better than some of the other brands.

Beautiful color. This is about the onIy product I can apply on my totally white head of hair and actually get blonde which lasts until it grows out. Makes may hair super soft. The conditioner is superb and lasts along time. (Short hair)

I bought this thinking it would be a better option for coloring my hair during Covid. I used Loreal crème formula's in the past. I had no issues with them. Not enough color nor does it live up to the dimensional effects. All over color looks uneven not dimensional. Go with the regular Loreal creme colors. I also wish Loreal would get the smell out of their hair coloring. The companies that make it will be the one provide salon effects for all over color that don't damage hair. People go to Sally's to get the ones with professional non damaging oil formula's. Covid has changed things. Loreal needs to recognize with YouTube and salon professional's showing you how to do color you don't have to go to the salon. I hope they will up their game. This isn't 1970. Big disappointment. Use the L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme Permanent Hair. Truly a big disappoint and will have to re-color hair.

Beautiful shade of blonde, not brassy. Easy to apply.

I have bleach blonde hair, and I was looking to get away from using a highlighting kit as it was damaging my hair and I could not keep up with the color. This is the third time I have purchased this product. The first two times were at Walgreens, so was happy to find it here. My daughter is currently using my phone so I could not take a picture but it has colored my hair a nice beige, neutral blonde. This, I believe has been less damaging and looks more natural, plus requires less maintenance. I don't have grey hair, so that was not an issue for me. My roots do have a bit of a red tone but I am happy as it makes me look less washed out and brightens my face a bit and my hair has gotten healthier. This color has worked better than a lot of other colors I have tried in the past. Since, my hair was bleached my hair does lighten up after several washes, but overall, I am happy because it saves me time and money. I think if you are hoping for a very blonde result, you will be disappointed. My package did not arrive damaged. It also seems to work fairly quickly.

I truly liked the resulting color, but the fumes and odor from the product made me ill…DIZZY, FAINT, the smell was overwhelming! I’ve colored. My hair forever and never experienced such!!!

There's a reason they call this hair colour Excellence. It's easy to use with no drips whatsoever. No strong smell either. My finished look is so natural and all my grey that was in the front of my head is covered. I will always use this product because it makes me look like I've been to the hairdresser.

Covers okay but for my greys. My hair is dark brown and it came out a dark blond. More of a very light brown. I was looking for a lighter blond. I wouldn’t buy again.
