The item is cute and looks great. Happy.
My Requirement I have a cupboard that needs a shoe rack. The dimensions of the cupboard will make it difficult to find an ideal product. With the skirting board I have a width of 63cm plus a door frame of 57cm. So I knew assembly of the rack would have to be inside the cupboard. Why this one The metal rack just look cheap and nasty, even when hiding them in a cupboard, they look like bird cages. The dimension of the cupboard, made my selection rather limited and I decided I would rather keep coats in there as well, so a tall rack was out. The only real contender is the Ricoo wm032 which was £5 more expense then this one. The Ricoo looks identical to this one and has the same width, slightly different other dimension. I downloaded the PDF instruction for the Ricoo and I wasn’t impressed enough to pay an extra £5 for it. I liked this one as it seemed to have been thought out better. E.g. the side handles and smoother lip on the front and no visible screws. I have to mention packaging I liked the packaging, it was really well packaged. Judging by one of cracked packaging materials inside the box, the box had suffered quite a bad knock or fall in the past (see image) Tracing the same place on wood packaging with the box you can see a minor indentation on the box. The wood packaging took the impact and protected the contents perfectly. Build Okay I have no problem putting something together, loved airfix, lego, car manuals to a point. You going to need a hammer and a cross headed screw driver (magnetic). The kit really needs a small S shaped wrench/screw driver, to help with the middle shelf, as I don’t have a short cross head screwdriver. I counted all the parts like I do for any build. Nothing missing. Step 1 is easy. step 2 doesn’t tell you everything. You need 4 pieces of A, but you can only see where to place 2 of them. Once I realised the instructions are designed to save paper, ink and are generally poor at instructing! I found it easier to interpret. Half way through step 3 I had to finish the assembly in the cupboard. Step 5, I said hammer, if you decide to put the back boards on, you'll need to hammer in 24 nails, but you don’t need to hammer anything else. Unlike, the Ricoo one. You just need to line up boards before banging away. I didn’t so I lost the first nail when I had to remove it as the board was ever so slightly misaligned, so be careful. Step 6 (final step) I see I need 12 screws, but I can only figure out where to put 8 of them. There are no holes left on the product to put 4 screws into? Finished The finished product weights 12Kg it feels very sturdy. Comparing the de-structions to the ricoo, this one looks like it is over engineered or well thought. Hence the other reviewer saying there is “a million pieces”. If you look at the packaging plus the product, I would say the whole thing was very well thought out, except the non-structions. There is about 112 pieces, including the nails and wood panels themselves. It took me alone 40 minutes construction time. I had a lot of fun putting this together hence this write up. The item is cute and looks great. It easily supports my weight. Happy.

Sturdy, exactly as description, perfect for my hallway
I nearly didn’t buy this because of a few bad reviews and was quite wary on opening it up. It arrived 2 days early, was in perfect condition, with instructions and no missing pieces. As a 69 year old woman, I managed to assemble it on my own and am delighted with it. It’s strong, fits together perfectly, looks good and does the business. I’m not usually moved to write reviews but I felt I should on this occasion due to my hesitancy from some reviews. Instructions could be a bit more detailed and the finish on the inside of the lid could have been better but no one sees that. Definitely worth buying.

Good but a bit hard to assemble
I like the the product. The shoe rack was easy to assemble although you need tools for that. However, assembling the lid was not easy. It took me some time to understand the instructions. Also, one of the hinges was bent which made it difficult, but I was able to fix it. Overall, it took me 2 hours to assemble.

Very good product, sturdy an attractive
Came within 2 days, super quick, well packaged without being excessive amount of plastic an foam. First thing I've ever tried to build myself and it was nice an easy, reasonably clear instructions. Think that there were a few bits I had to look at a couple of times but got there in the end an looks just like the picture so I'm pretty pleased with it. Hinges were the trickiest bit getting it all to line up as there were only 2 holes drilled where I expected there to be 4 and not sure exactly where the pins were meant to go on the bottom so just left them off for now. Feels very sturdy an I'm a very large person so was reassuring, an my 2yo thinks it's a game to keep getting on an off it now an it's not tipped or anything so I'm very happy with this product and highly recomend to anyone

Solid build, decent quality, exactly as pictures
A week after what was a straight forward build that took about 15mins; it is looking exactly as the photos. Looks good, solid, of decent quality. Hinges on the lid are tough too, as you’d get on majority of kitchen cabinet doors. The under lid storage size is just right for shoe shiners, polish, brushes, shoe trees, etc. Happy with purchase. No issues at all so far...

It’s a cute little storage box/shelves
I think it’s cute but as I read other people’s reviews about the instructions, they’re right! It does take some working out (my bf is a design engineer & even he said the instructions weren’t very clear). It doesn’t help that some items have numbered stickers (that match the instructions) but not all the items had numbers on 🙄 It’s cheap mdf but it’ll do for extra shoe storage for us and fits nicely under our coats in the hallway (see pic).

Excellent purchase
Strong, attractive and useful piece of conservatory furniture. A little difficult to put together and the unmarked extra components were a little confusing. Excellent product.
