Unexpected great taste
I wasn't sure what to expect with this item. I guess I was thinking it would be some attempt at recreating your average plain "potato chip" but it isn't that at all. Do they taste like Coconut? Yes, very much. But that isn't a bad thing. I suppose if you despise coconut then you should probably move along as this product isn't for you. However, had I known beforehand how pronounced the taste was I probably would've skipped the purchase but it turns out I ended up really liking these. Finding good, reasonably priced keto snacks used to be nigh impossible. The selection is much better now although the local pickins are still rather stark. I am happy to be adding these to my snack drawer at work.

A snack for those with a sweet tooth
I'll start off by saying I'm not a big fan or a fan of coconut at all really. It's something about taste I'm not too fond of and the scent can be off putting as well. However, after doing a taste test from a friend I was amazed by the chip in general. The texture is good, nice and smooth on the planes. The thickness with the crunchy bite of the chip is nicely balanced and the coconut taste is not overpowering. My mom has been doing Keto and when I saw that Dang had keto chips I knew these would be a shoe in snack for her.

Tastes good, but labeling and avertising is misleading/confusing/inconsistent
The lightly salted coconut chips are a nice snack. Plain and simple, no sugar added so they aren't sweet and have just a hint of salt. Unfortunately, the nutrition information in the Amazon advertising is different from what's printed on the bag which is different from what you get when you scan the barcode on the bag (for those of you that use MyFitnessPal or other logs to record what you eat - BEWARE! Don't use the barcode to enter this product into your log). The Amazon website ad shows a nutrition label with 180 cals, 10 g of carbs, 15 g fat, 2 g protein for a 1 oz package. The physical package has a nutrition label with 260 cals, 14 g carbs, 22 g fat, 3 g protein for a 1.43 oz package (see my pic). The barcode on that same physical package (see my pic that shows what MyFitnessPal pulls up when I scan the barcode) shows 190 cals, 9 g carbs, 16 g fat, 2 g protein for a 1 oz package (even though this package says it is 1.43 oz and serves 1). I have a feeling the 260 cals/14 g carbs is probably the accurate nutrition and if that is true, I'm not sure I would have bought this and that's why I feel this was misleading. So what are the real nutritional numbers for this product????? And why doesn't the barcode on the product match the labeling on the product????

There is really no sugar in this product!
I started with Dang after taking on the AIP (Auto Immune Protocol) Diet a couple of months ago. It is quite a challenge searching and finding foods that contain no sugar. This is your bag of treats if that is what you are looking for. A crisp, healthy treat for you jaded pallet. I mistakenly, switched to "BARE", which ARE, very good tasting, then 5 bags later, read the label. I was assuming they were also sugar free, which was the whole idea to begin with, but alas, Bare contains "cane sugar" which my immune system is sensitive to. So glad, I still have "DANG" as a back up. I never was crazy for coconut till I experienced a bag of DANG Coconut Chips. Thanks for making a sugar free product in a sugar laden world.

Better than expected
I really love these coconut chips! The texture is crispy because they are toasted and the flavor is so creamy. I originally intended to buy the sweetened green bag for my son but I accidentally purchased the plain sea salt. I am happy I did. Iโm looking for healthy snacks and this has no added sugar.

NOT like a potato chip. They're coconut shavings.
Flavor is great! But when it said "chips" on the label, I thought I'd be eating something like a potato chip, but made with coconut instead. However, unfortunately, that was not the case. What I received today was a small bag of coconut shavings. The flavor was excellent. But they're bendy shavings of the inside of a coconut. Very misleading! I hate the texture of real coconut. It makes me gag! So, instead of chips, I received a snack that made me a bit sick. Oh. And they're not cheap. Wish I could get my money back.
