Belkin Grip Candy Sheer Case/Cover for iPhone 5 / 5S and iPhone SE (Gravel/Smolder)

We love this case. We purchased it in gravel and smolder. The back which is more black in nature does not let the back shine through. So you do not see the Apple nor do you see the dust and fuzz that you usually see with similar cases that have more transparency. I prefer not to see the dust that gets under the cover on the back of the case so this case is perfect to me. It is very slim but definitely has a no slip grip and you can easily press your buttons on the top and side. The speaker vents and recharge area on the bottom as well as the camera on the back are not obstructed at all by the case but also they are protected by the design. I do not have any issues using this case and it is so easy to install it probably took 2 seconds. I love that it only minimally increases the size of the iPhone. I accidentally dropped my phone once since putting it in this case and the case not only protected the phone but the case did not show any signs of abrasion from hitting the pavement. I also love that the case does not show fingerprints or grease. I see no signs of it showing dirt either although I have to admit I really take care of my phone. I also can easily remove this case if I feel like dusting off the back of the phone and the phone in the case fits perfectly into my dock in case I want to play surround sound. This honestly is the best slim fitting case I have found. Even if it is raining and I have to use my phone, I feel like the phone will not slip out of my hands just because of the no slip high quality rubber the case is made out of. I have waited to review this case since I have now owned it for 2 months and it still looks like it came right out of the box. I only wish they would also include a cover screen for the phone. Still though this case is amazing and worth buying a cover screen in addition to this case. I highly recommend this case. I own an iPhone 5 and it fits perfectly and looks great. With the great Amazon price it is a no brainer. The local stores cannot touch the Amazon pricing on this product.

I should say that I only have experience with three slim cases for the iPhone 5, including this one. The other two were a cheap one from a mall kiosk, and a two-piece one from another manufacturer.In both other cases, the cutouts were basically where they were supposed to be, and they seemed like they would provide at least a minimum of protection. That said, the mall case was of softer, flimsier plastic, and seemed like it would itself start to deteriorate fairly quickly. It had just one long cutout on the bottom for the jacks and speakers, and this made the front edge of the case down there quite flimsy. The two-piece case was sturdier, but the two-piece design made it thicker. The two-piece was also smoother/slicker, and I thought I'd be more likely to drop the phone.This case is of firm yet pliable plastic. It is slightly textured, so it feels great in your hand. The cutout for the silent switch is beveled, so it is easy to use (although you'll likely still need to use your fingernail). It doesn't add too much bulk to the phone, but it does have a slightly raised beveled edge on the front, which means you can rest the phone face down. The volume and top buttons work so well you'd think they are part of the phone itself.The other commentators are correct in saying that, if you have the black iPhone (which I do), you will not be apple to see the "apple" through the case very well, if that is important to you. That said, I put another design on a thin piece of paper inside the case, and it comes through fairly well, for a subtle effect.Finally, this case does not come with screen protectors.[Edit -- 07/24/13] I dropped the phone on concrete this morning from chest height. No damage!

I am using this case on my iPhone SE. It fits well around the edge of the phone except the bottom is a touch loose due to the three big holes for the speakers and charger. This also means that there's no interference from the case when plugging in various headphone and charger cables. The way the case clings to the edges is great since it doesn't interfere with the screen protector (as my old Belkin case did on my 4s). The medium gray on the sides is just what you expect after seeing the photos. The back is almost black but you can see through it a little. I returned the peach one because the color didn't match the product photos and it was much more pink. The annoying thing with the case is that the case buttons don't match up with the phone buttons as well as I would like. Maybe it will stretch and get better over time. Overall it was mostly worth the price tag and I'm mostly satisfied with it.I'm not 100% sure that this is not a fake but I haven't found anything to prove it's not genuine. The only thing is that the packaging was not the same as the peach one I returned. That said, the packaging is dated 2014 so maybe it's just the older version.

So i finally broke down and purchased an iPhone 5 in May, and needed a case and screen cover to protect my new investment. I knew i didnt want to drop the money on an Otterbox because i dont need protection for a 40ft drop, I need realistic protection of hand distance to ground, onto carpet, gravel, pavement, and so on. This cover doesnt have a screen cover included, but the gel cover works just fine protecting the back and sided, even providing a little bit of raised area around the front edge. The side buttons are still very usable with the case on. the speakers and plug access on the bottom arent obstructed. A big plus is that i can fit my phone with case into my exercise arm band.The case is easily removed, but is snug enough that you wont catch it falling off at any point. For the price, i think this is a great phone cover that doesnt limit your phone use and adds enough everyday protection.If you are notoriously forgetful or clumsy with you're phone, say leaving it in the middle of the road, in a cup of water, or falling from 800ft up, this isnt what your want. Maybe instead go with an Otterbox or a personal assistant to carry your stuff for you. For me and my everyday use, it's perfect. 2 months, and a few hand-to-floor drops and i couldn't be happier.

So after some rave reviews on the US site, I decided to order this. It is mentioned in some reviews there also, and I also noticed that the Black/gray is not like how its shown here in the picture. Its actually much darker at the back and so don't expect to see apple logo at the back. Now that was a bit disappointing as after snapping it on, its not really a very good looking case and really hides the iphone.But once you get past this initial disappointment (maybe this is just me), the cover is otherwise excellent. It fits perfectly, you can use the volume rocker nicely,so does the power and silent mode button. It has a slight bump on the front so that you can keep the phone face down, but it does not in any way hinders in typing. The corner keys on the keyboard are easily accessible.It also has a great grip. Prior to this case, I had been using my phone for about 4 months without the cover and it had slipped out a few times, but after this cover(which I got after apple care replaced my previous damaged phone) on my new phone, it hasn't slipped out even once. I did managed to drop my phone with this cover a few times (using and walking and bumping into people), but the cover had kept the phone safe. There are no scratches on the ionized bezel and even after using it for over a few months, the cover itself is not showing any sings of wear-n-tear.So, overall, looks aside, its a excellent case to keep your phone safe and scratch free.

Nice solid case. Good protection on the back and sides. It has an extended lip to protect the front display if the phone falls on its face.It feels a little bulky after having used the Switcheasy Tones for my iPhone 5 but that gives a sturdy grip and cover to the phone.The case is easily removable for cleaning the back of the phone.The volume buttons are a little hard to click but that's a small shortcoming.I got a black grey case and it looks nice and inconspicuous.
