The quality of this jacket is great, it keeps you very warm. Good pockets for traveling. Unfortunately, I did not care for how it looked on me once I tried it on, so I will be returning it. I am 5'6", 145 lbs and got the Large. It gave a bit of room for wearing a sweater under it, but even using the waist cinch, it just didn't flatter me. If I went with Medium I'm not sure it would help the look, and may not give room for warm clothes under it.I thought to use it for an upcoming Europe trip so along with that and that this is not extremely lightweight (due to the light fleece lining) and folded does use bulk, I will return it and just go with what I already have.

Rarely, am I thrilled with an item of clothing. I am "thrilled" with this coat! Color is beautiful! The texture of the fabric gives it an expensive quality. (Watch the video to see to what I mean about the texture) The coat is warm in the cold, very good in the rain. In every way, it is as described; very rare!The zippered outer pockets are deep AND there are deep pockets inside! Click on the views to see the four pockets. I wasn't focusing on the inside pockets, yet, I'm glad they are there. This coat is well designed; well made! At first, the hood looked small for my head and hair. I was wrong; it fits quite well! I chose an XL to fit around my 47" hips. I have long arms and legs. The length of the sleeves is just right, and the coat length is mid thigh on my 5' 10" frame. The coat covers my buttocks. That's a big plus! I chose well; I'm so happy!

5'1", 150 lbs, size M fits perfectly. Outside pockets are deep as well as both pockets inside. The fleece lining is just enough for winter, spring and fall on the north eastern coast. The hood offers great coverage for someone with a lot of hair. It is water resistant and the outer material is soft, not rubbery. The seams are artfully designed. The 2 way zipper is ingenious, especially for driving. I am very satisfied with this selection. The price was way less than what any department store would charge. I do recommend making this purchase.

There are a zillion of these jackets on Amazon and all of them have bad reviews, including this one. I noticed my friend wearing this one in a FB photo and I asked her about it. She absolutely LOVES it, so I thought I would give this one a try. Some similar coats are priced as low as $35 but they have a lot of bad reviews. I expected the coat to be in a material like a London Fog type raincoat, but this has more of a smooth polyester finish. The hood and lining are attached so you can't remove them. Some people complained about the lining, which is a lightweight flannel, sticking to their clothes when they take the coat off but I tried it over a sweatshirt and it didn't stick. Amazon recommended I order an XXL but I looked at the size chart and the measurements for the XL looked like the right size. I would say to go by the measurements on the size chart. The XL fit over my heaviest sweatshirt with no problem. I was concerned about the stupid looking logo but on my coat it ended up on the side down by the hem so it's not noticeable. It is washable but I'm not going to wash it because I think that could effect the water resistance. Although the jacket says it's water proof in the description, it's actually water resistant. I like that it is long enough to cover my butt but it's not as long as it looks in the photo on Amazon. It has an adjustable drawstring inside so you can bring it in a little at the waist to give it some shape. The sleeves are a tiny bit long on me but I'm only 5'2". The sleeves have velcro so you can tighten them around your wrists if you want. The front zipper unzips from the top or the bottom. Some people like this because they can unzip it from the bottom so they can sit down in their car when driving. I tried sitting down in the coat and I didn't need to unzip it. I think the two way zipper makes it a little awkward but it's acceptable. It has good sized zipper pockets in the front. It also has very large pockets inside so if you wanted to stash extra money or something like that, you could use the deep inside pockets. It doesn't fold up tiny for packing but it's not too bulky. Hopefully it holds up and keeps me dry!

This jacket comes in 2 lengths, based on other reviews, I bought the longer length. I was happy I did as I dealt with a lot of rainy weather. I feel it is generously cut, I ordered a large, so I could layer a heavy fleece underneath, but it was big enough to fit over a big heavy Aran sweater, even with its giant sleeves! I think a medium would fit me fine, but was glad for the extra layering room in the large. The inside pockets are helpful in addition to the outer ones. This is a great price for a fleece-lined rain jacket. I like that is is available in so many colors.

I have a rubbery sweaty raincoat and a waterproof heavy parka. NOW I have finally have a non-sweaty medium-weather rainy day. It's soft and snuggly with a hood that doesn't fall down on my face. I'm warm and dry from my head to my thighs. I bought a bigger size than I actually need so I can a sweatshirt/sweater under the coat and be warm on a windy 40 degree walk in a snow/rain day.

I just wore my new raincoat for the first time today. I haven't a real raincoat in years. No big need. But, weather is changing here in northeast Ohio and we are having many more storms. This coat will definitely stand up to the weather, the fit is perfect and it's very attractive. A great buy. Highly recommend!
