Good Sturdy Planters, Color not as Pictured
I have purchased two planters from this seller, one an embossed flower box, and now this 12 inch bowl. They are good sturdy plastic with a very good functional drainage tray on the bottom. They seem to hold and set off the plants very nicely. I knocked off one star for the inaccuracy of the colors. Many times with an item like this, having a certain color is one of the big selling points. Both products that I purchased arrived in a fairly different or darker color than they were pictured and described. The flower box was listed as Grey and pictured as Grey, when I opened the box it was dark Taupe. The bowl was listed as pastel blue( a rare find when it comes to color in these products!) turned out to be like a medium blue green. Also, the measurements of these items tend to run smaller than described. I used a measuring tape on both, they run about an inch smaller than described on the dimensions. Whatever, it's just two plastic planters, I can live with it! But when you purchase such things on Amazon, and you are buying the product sight unseen, the pictures and descriptions are all you have to go on. They should be accurate so you know exactly what you are purchasing.

Nice bowl planters for succulents
I bought 3 different color bowls to make succulent planters for Mother's Day gifts. They are great and turned out very pretty. The attached drain tray looks like it will work well. Wish they had even more colors.

Way overpriced
Waayyy overpriced!!!Too thin, too lightweight cheap looking plastic bowl is $14?!?This is something you can find at dollar store! When it was delivered, I thought Amazon shipped EMPTY box!!! It’s THAT light!Tray is useless.Too shallow to keep excess water and that would rotten your plants root. When this was sitting on my kitchen counter, my husband thought it’s kitchen bowl.🤦🏻♀️Don’t waste your money, use your money wisely!!!

You can't go wrong with thse planters
Sometimes only plastic will do. And these do their job great. I wish I had gotten a different color only because when I moved all the planters in for the winter, it would have been nice to have more of a pop of color. But I had chosen red, which I still like, the table looks very "earthy". In the photo it is the large round planter with succulents in it. I took the clay color planter they were in and just put the whole thing inside of the red one instead of transplanting. Now, I'll still have the red planter for new plants next summer!

Right Pot for the Right Plant
Cut the bottom right off... But I do that with most pots. It's hot mostly here Zone 8-11 and plants drink big...I have a few clay pots like this but couldn't find any plastic pots as shallow as this here...The plant needed lots of water but has short roots this was the thing that fit. Only a inch taller but 2X as wide for room to grow out some.

MUCH smaller/shallower than I expected
I realize that the dimensions are listed. But still. This planter is small and VERY shallow. Have to water every day. That said, they are cute filled with petunias, and easy to move because they are so light.

Decent Pot, Not Black in Color
This pot looks like it does in the picture, EXCEPT the pot is not a true black in color. I would describe this pot as being more dark gray. When I put it next to my other black pots, it is very obviously not true black in color like the picture suggests.

What I Wanted and Expected
This is a plastic planter, which is what I need for my front porch, where wind would likely smash ceramic or terra cotta. As it happened, it was available in a color of blue very near to the color of most of our house, so I am pleased all around, feeling I got what I wanted at a fair price.
