I use these a lot in my work. I need a good red pen. This is the best I've found. Ball pens, gel pens, Precision pens just don't compare. The red color is bright, not washed out. Downside is it's not waterproof so when I get caught outside in the rain, I have to make sure to cover my papers. Can't find a comparable pen. Recollections pens from Michaels were my favorite, but they stopped making them. This is an excellent alternative.

I used the Le Pen to do all my line drawings (135 for each) for all three of my quilt books. The black pens lay a fine, consistent line and dry almost instantly. I use the red pens during editing my own in-process work or when editing/teaching writing to others. The tips lay a fine enough line that I can write between a double-spaced line or in the margins without smearing. Terrific pens!

I have been using Le Pen brand pens for years. I like these fine point, non leaking slim pens. As a teacher, I became somewhat famous at my school for marking up student's compositions in red ink. One chair even thanked me by buying me several boxes of them. Now that I am retired, I still find them useful for jotting down notes in several colors as "codes" of Importance.

Dainty pens that write well with good color payoff. They don't bleed through my Moleskine pages (with writing once or twice in one spot), but the color also shows up well and does not fade. The tips are those "compact felt" style, so they write very well and smoothly. I definitely recommend these if you love pens!

These are the only pens I use anymore. They have a fine tip but don't require a firm surface to write on, like a ballpoint pen would. They are great for marking up drawings and documents or writing on printouts in the field.

These pens are dreadful on offset paper (that inside most paperback novels, which I hoped to mark with them): the line is ugly, diffuse, non-uniform; it bleeds to a width thicker than an everyday ballpoint or gel pen. The only way to avoid bleeding is to drag the pen using no pressure whatsoever across the paper. I imagine fans of these pens find they work very well on coated paper! They're like low-performance, children's versions of fineline colored Sharpies on offset paper, unfortunately.
