Unisex's X9 Chain, Grey, 114 Link

Perfect, no complaints with this. You'll need a chain tool, but then fitting is easy.

Replaced a Shimano branded chain on my road bike, and is so much better! Very rust-resistant throughout a cold, damp Scottish winter. Looks as good as new even after a few months with minimal maintenance, just an occasional clean and lube!

Most of my bikes are 9-speed. Very good. Good quality. Easy to use durability, pencil well you cycle? How far you do? Good for money? Good value for money

This was the recommended chain for my Fiido C21 Pro bike. Changed the chain after 6,000 miles. Was extremely happy with the result. Smoother peddling and very precise gear changes. Cut the old chain off with angle grinder because I didn’t have missing link remover tool. Followed instructions supplied to click the new missing link into place using pressure on the crank. Audible click.

This is a very good chain if your looking for a longer 9 speed chain then this is perfect. I converted my bike with a bafang mid drive motor so needed a longer chain. I tried 11 speed chains but they were just creating extra noise at the derailleur, so I opted for this 120 link 9 speed chain and I'm so glad I did. It's smooth and performs beautifully it's excellent value for money and comes with kmc durability. Can't fault it. I took the chain on a 10 mile ride today and it performed beautifully.

Not for e-Bikes! My CUBE Touring Hybrid came original with the KMC X9. It has a 75 Nm motor and I ride fairly mixed, but mostly longer distance. The chain is never under any harsh conditions and I avoid riding it in rain. My first X9 chain lasted roughly 600 km, but I figured hey - it might just be a poor example. So after this first X9 chain, I tried a Shimano e-Bike chain indtead. That chain lasted 1200 km, surprisingly. When it was time to change again, I thought why not buy the original chain and give it a another try? It soon became clear that it was a mistake. A really, really poor mistake. The chain started skipping after just 150 km and skips at least twice while I ride. I only expect it to become worse. The rollers on the chain have already begun to show wear and at the time of writing this, I've only ridden 300 km with this new X9 chain. It's closing in in 0.5% wear and I don't think I'll reach 500 km until it's time to change again. I cannot recommend KMC X9 to anyone who rides an e-Bike, even if it came original. I am not buying KMC again.
