Bearitos Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips, Unsalted, 16 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I thought these chips were really good, tasty, and very few broken chips. But it took me a long time to go through 12 bags of chips, so I opened my last 2 bags after the expiration date and man they were bad - very rancid smell and taste, really inedible. But it was about 2 months past the expiration date, so I really can't complain.

These chips are great, the pricing scheme is HORRIBLE.Sometimes these are completely reasonably priced. Other times, the price will double for no apparent reason, with no warning, and no way of knowing when the sensible price will return.Whoever is in charge of flavor is doing wonderfully! Whoever decides pricing is messing this up over and over again.

Price has more than doubled on this product. At $2.50 per bag YES! At 5.70 per bag NOOOOOO! I do like the flavor.

There was nothing wrong with my chips. They tasted great and these are the best unsalted yellow corn chips that I've been able to find. They are not as dense as the blue corn unsalted chips from Garden of Eaten but I do like to mix it up with those for variety. Sadly, the bags closest to the box will act as packing material and those bags may contain 1/3 worth of broken chips.Ignore the old reviews and order with confidence.

I really like Bearitos corn chips. They are by far the best organic chips out there of the brands I've tried. I do like the Yellow Corn chips too. I switched to the white when the yellow price went up quite a bit. I would buy either so I'm happy with these. Fresh taste and just he right amount of salt.

Maybe I will try the white corn latter if I can find a suitable private sauce,low sodium!

Like other reviewers, our chips were rancid. We received our chips only a month before the expiration date and they were already going bad. We made it through a bag and a half before we had to throw them all away. It may have just been the box we received, but other reviewers have commented on it, too, so it may not be isolated. In any case, I don't think we'll be buying this brand again.

We are on limited salt diets, plus we don't really like salted chips. The Bearitos tortilla chips are soooo yummy ... unsalted, crisp, wonderful corn flavor ... they are just the best (salted or unsalted). We buy them all the time, by the case, for dipping our hummus.
