Great Monitor Screen
I now have 2 of these screens in use as on-podium monitor screens (I built an adjustable framework to hold the screen) taking feeds from Laptop or Video sources. This allows the speaker to see what is on the screen(s) behind him/her without having to crane their neck to see it. We also use it as a form of teleprompter to send a pre-written speech, so notes are not necessary. I have run these off both power supply and battery pack without problems. Because they are not attached to the podiums, they do get bumped around a bit, but still work great. If you need a good inexpensive screen, this is a great selection. Note: It can work as a testing monitor for video signals as well. This is helpful when you can't see the destination screen.

UPDATED: DIsplay died. Quality and execution barely adequate
On June 30, 2018, the display was working. I was moving some equipment so I unplugged the display from power and it never come back on. The unit lasted four years and one month. Not bad. Not good. This display is not 640 x 480 as is alluded to in the description at the top. It is actually 640 x 234 as mentioned in the details. Do not purchase this monitor thinking it will be a replacement for a computer monitor. Even though it has a VGA input, it is essentially a VGA to Composite converter that's integrated into the display. Reading text smaller than 20 pt or so on a VGA signal would be difficult. Picture quality on the composite input is adequate. The image is not particularly sharp. There are TWO remotes included; one is a wired remote and the other is wireless. The wired remote is on a short cable with a small DIN type plug so that it can be disconnected. The wireless remote works with an IR receiver that is at the end of a long cable (10 feet or so) and is on a cable without any connector - it's hard wired to the display. This would make it difficult to use if you were expecting to drill a hole and run the IR receiver out to the other side of the mounting surface. Installing the display is straightforward, except for the trim piece. The trim piece appears yellowish in the product photos, but it is actually a bright white. It is NOT a rectangular bezel that trims only around the perimeter of the display, instead it is a solid piece that covers the whole display with the outer edges painted white to hide the display frame. It is made of a very easily scratched acrylic. The description says that the trim piece is paintable, but you would have to precisely mask off the clear middle of the trim piece before painting the outside of the trim piece. I would imagine that excellent results would be difficult. Finally, the manufacturer intends to attach the trim piece to the display with black double stick foam tape. This is disappointing because it makes disassembly difficult and the tape shows through the white trim piece so that it is faintly visible to the viewer. I opted to use white, self-adhesive velcro strips instead that I purchased separately. They are less visible and allow for removing and reinstalling the trim.

Does exactly what I wanted
Some time ago I purchased an older electronic product with a tiny display. Luckily, the product had a "VGA" output port, so I looked around for something inexpensive to use as the primary display. Due to space limitations, I didn't want something as large as a standard 20" monitor. I was able to find some 12" monitors but they seemed to target point of sale applications and were pretty expensive. I also saw a number of specialized video displays that did not seem to offer VGA compatibility. I ran across the PYLE on Amazon, which was a good size and had the same aspect ratio as the original display. I was a bit put off by the price, but purchased it anyway. Basically installation was plug and play. I already had a 12V power supply, so connected that up and plugged in a VGA cable and everything worked. Some complaints: 1) I read the documentation before purchase and could not determine many details of operation. For example: do you have to do setup every time you turn it on? Often things that aren't spelled out aren't there. Fortunately, setup with the Pyle was easy and it does remember everything. 2) It is not the easiest thing to mount. More mounting options (brackets and or holes) would be a help. I only remember four mounting holes. 3) It wasn't clear before purchase, but all of the input cables and the remote control cable are hardwired to the circuit board. On something as expensive as this you would expect connectors so unnecessary cables could be easily removed. I currently have all the unneeded cables strapped to the back of the display - an unsightly mess. In summary the PYLE did exactly what I wanted, but I can't speak about the color fidelity, crispness or other aspects of video quality. I think it is a bit overpriced, but this isn't a mass-market item, so some additional cost is expected.

Pyle 15' Inwall monitor
I used this for my CCTV home security system. The monitor works perfect for this application. It has three inputs (bnc, rca and vga). I'm using the bnc and rca. One thing I don't like about this monitor is that it does not come with a power supply. You have to supply your own 12V power. But overall it is perfect for my application. I gave this product 5 out of 5 stars because of its functionality.

It's pretty nice.. considering the used one i bought didn't work.
I bought a used one.. no wonder it was only 80$.. when i tried to hook it up with my computer, it just kept saying, device not found or device not working.. so i gave up with the 10" and went to the 15".. but then i was like.. "what the heck, i'll buy a new one and see if it'll work and if not i can still return it". Turns out.. the brand new one worked like a charm on my net book. I've already bought now 5 of these for my booth business. they're great! sucks that you have to buy the power and before you know it, the monitors are $160 + $18 for power and it's a $178 10" monitor!! but it's super flat!!
