Virbac ANXITANE® Chewable Tablets, Medium/Large Dog, 100 mg, 30 Count

My dog trainer suggested these as a way to relax my new rescue dog that was having anxiety. These have leveled her out without making her sleepy. Highly recommend. Great for adult dogs adjusting to a new home.

This product is great for my senior dog! He has horrible separation anxiety. We tried thunder jackets, other calming agents, exercise. Nothing worked for him. I read that it takes 2-3 weeks for it to take effect. We are heading into week 3 and he is so much more calm now. He is a completely different dog. A savior for him and us. Worth the money!

I was looking for something to help calm and relax a dog that moved homes. After reading the reviews on this and from being a trusted company, I thought I would give this product a try. I've been using this product for over 2 weeks on my 2 dogs and there is no discernable difference. The one dog that recently moved in, is still restless and pacing, the other dog is as hyper as ever.This product was a waste of money. I do not recommend this at all.

Love this med. A little pricey especially since I have to double up on his dosage. The best way I have found to do it is two in the morning and a third midday. My pup has separation anxiety, so he’s destructive behavior only starts when I’m not home. The above dosage I have to give him is the only thing that’s been effective for a 130 lb Cane Corso puppy, and he not be lethargic from it. When I come home, he’s off his bed and running to me, tail wagging and all smiles. 4 stars only because of the price. Still a fantastic product.

Read through the comments. Either it works or it doesn’t, it depends on your dogs anxiety or stress level.In my case, it has worked wonders and miracles for my German shepherd, he stresses, whenever I leave the house, this helps take the edge off and keeps him calm. I’m very happy and pleased with this product.

I have 2 senior rescued chihuahuas, both have separation anxiety and fear aggression. I can't leave without them losing their minds with barking. This helps them relax, it has been a life saver!

You should know that this formula of Anxitane is NOT flavored. This company does have a formula that's chicken flavored. I use that for my dog and have bought it before through my vet and Chewy. My dog eats the chicken flavored ones like their treats but she wasn't willing to take this pill. Even with peanut butter on it she wouldn't take it. Having to force an already stressed dog to take a pill is no fun. Read the info on the ingredients to make sure you're getting the chicken flavored type.

This is a great product for dogs. Relaxes and calms. Works as described. This was recommended by a vet as a last option before medication. There is this size and the ‘small dose for small cats and dogs’. I actually break those in half and give half in am, half in pm.
