Excellent for designer handbags
Purchased to remove scratches on soft leather of LV and YSL bags. It works great and smells nice-not overpowering or harsh, just pleasant, neutral fresh leather smell.

Best you can buy for your leather - “healing” effect
Best you can buy for your leather purse and boots! It’s like “healing” to leather and makes the scratches fade and make it look newer

Good stuff but a little too perfumed for me
It’s good stuff, works well. But it has a strong smell like a perfume that takes days to dissipate. Some people like the smell, it’s like an over-perfumed grandma to me.

Very neutral color, no oiliness or tackiness, and mild sheen when brushed
I took the advice of the Elegant Oxford channel on YouTube to use this as a mild, versatile conditioner for dress shoes and boots. Mr. Soto will use a colored Saphir shoe cream or a leather dye if needed, then give shoes a treatment of this Saphir Universal, and finish dress shoes with a light layer of neutral or tinted wax, and add many thin layers to the toe and heel of the shoe with ice water and a touch of rubbing alcohol to make an amazing mirror finish. The Saphir Universal doesn't have the same cleaning agents and slightly heavier oils and waxes of the Saphir Renovateur conditioner. I try to use products that are mostly composed of plant oils and bees waxes rather than synthetic or mostly other animal oils like mink or lanolin, and almost never petroleum based products. The scent of this is nice, I guess. It kind of reminds me of a clothing store in Paris from the '80s, which is not really my thing but better than a petroleum smell of other products. It *barely* darkened the leather, so I'm not sure how it compares to the alternative water-based and synthetic Venetian conditioner, which I have on order since it's what Grant Stone brand recommends. It has a slightly tacky feel at first, which goes away completely after a few minutes and some buffing/brushing.The conditioner is very liquidy, but you just need to be careful dabbing it from the bottle onto your applicator or to the shoe, and start on smooth pieces of leather to thin it out before spreading it over any holes or brogueing. This product 100% met my expectations and while not cheap, it was reasonable at $15 for the bottle and should last a decent amount of time.

Just like Saphir Renovateur but less expensive
Fantastic stuff. I'm a huge fan of Saphir products. I don't use anything else for my leathers. I've been using their shoe polishes, cordovan creams, and Saphir Renovateur for years. I decided my leather furniture needed some care and thought of Saphir first. Glad I did. This stuff looks and smells just like the more expensive Renovateur product in the square glass jar, just slightly thinner because it is made with a beeswax and jojoba oil base as opposed to mink oil in the pricey version. This is perfect for large pieces of furniture, car upholstery, leather jackets, camera bags etc... A little goes a long way. One bottle covered an extra large couch (2 coats), a leather lounge chair, a briefcase, and a camera bag. You won't be disappointed. Apply it with a clean rag in a circular motion. Give it time to soak in and then buff gently with a clean rag or brush some minutes later. I waited 30 minutes for my extra neglected leathers to allow it more time to soak in. As always test in an inconspicuous area but I doubt you could do any harm with this. Outstanding product at a great value. Made in France!

Brings life back into leather
So I have two pairs of shoes from the late 90s to early 2000’s. Both of which have never been cleaned, polished, or conditioned. So I gave this cream polish a try. Both pairs of shoes were completely faded in color. The black Tim’s looked grey now they are back to their original black look. My Eastlands are very close to their original color. All by simply using this cream. So glad I tried this tout as I thought they may never had looked so good again. I did apply an ample amount of the cream cause the leather was extremely dry.
