Top CD cleaner
My car CD player was jumping tracks and missing songs, but I ran this cleaner a couple of times and it cured the problem. So I keep it in the car now and run it about once a month. Excellent result.

It worked!
EDITWhilst the first CD played properly, the player spat out the second one repeatedly. I am now running the cleaning CD for a second time!Delighted with this product which has restored my 25 year old mini CD system to use. The instruction leaflet was vague, to say the least. Unlike a previous reviewer who found the bottle of fluid needed to be pierced, mine was ready to go, and I put a couple of drops on the brushes. The biggest issue was trying to get the player to recognise the CD. It spat it out about 10 times before it finally recognised it, and the display showed 14 tracks. I pressed Play and off it went. I expected silence but what you actually get is 14 short tracks of muzak, interspersed with instructions in various languages. At the end of the 14 tracks, I removed the CD and inserted one from my collection and - hurrah! - the player recognised it and it is playing as we speak! So happy because I thought my system was destined for the tip. I’ve knocked one star off just because the instructions were so poor, but I’d recommend people to give it a go before discarding a previous CD player.

Easy to use
Easy to use and cleaned the CD player well. Improved the quality of the sound of CDs.

Works okay, lid is hard to work
Works okay and as expected. The applicator is blocked off with plastic so will need a pin poked through it to work.Plenty of liquid providedOne thing I did find is that the bristles from the disk become dislodged with use and you'll often find them stuck to the cleaning disk after use.Unable to comment on how many applications it will last, however I have used mine around 15-20 times and my disk still has just over half of it's bristles left with over half of the cleaning formula still in its bottle.

Works well, but don't expect miracles!
Bought this because my CD was popping and stalling, and I hadn't cleaned the lens for ages - CD player was unusable.Instructions were simple enough: you have to put the disc in the drive and then hear the on-disc instructions. Can be difficult if the lens is as mucky as mine was, but persevere!Use a pin to piece the bottle: put a drop on each of the brushes then insert the disc. Track 1 will say 'go to track # for more instructions for your language (track 2 for English). It only takes about 1 minute. The first run of disc cleaning showed some improvement but was still not too good.I removed the disc, put on some more drops of fluid and tried again. It worked again, was better but still not brilliant.Simply (especially if your lens is as messy as mine was) it takes time! I ran the disc, with more fluid each time, for about 10 runs, and now my CD works fine! Much cheaper than having it repaired or replaced! The moral is, don't expect miracles on the first usage, be prepared to use the disc several times, and don't let your lens get filthy! I will now use the disc to clean all my CD drives every few months. Conclusion? I recommend it. It is cheap and works.PS my player is a BOSE Wave with 'post box' slot - the disc pops in okay and out too, but can be fiddly to insert or eject, but again, don't give up , just follow your machines guide how to shift stuck discs.

Didn’t work. BUT FIXED IT MYSELF.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased a second hand hi fi unit. The history unknown. On using, it soon became apparent that the cd player was skipping tracks. So brought this product to try and resolve the issue.Used this twice thinking it would solve the problem. I followed the verbal instructions from the cd player and written instructions. It didn’t fix the problem. So my thoughts were the cd unit I have is broken and to give it up as a bad job and get rid.A couple of days later after playing the cd again with skipping tracks I then decided as I had nothing to loose, so decided to take the hifi out of the cabinet and remove the covers to get close up to the cd lens. A few drops of the cd disc cleaning fluid on a cotton bud, and a quick rub were all that were needed and now the cd unit plays with no issues. So this is proof that the cd disc cleaning does nothing at all, and all that was needed was a cotton bud and the fluid. A learning for me and hopefully all reading this.

CD laser lens cleaner
Received. Product used on three CD players 1st on my Bose system that stopped reading discs suddenly last week. Followed instructions two drops of fluid on disk brushes then left for five minutes and placed classical music cd in and listened to the sweet music .My portable cd also benefited from clean and third CD player after cleaning still doesn’t work so will have to investigate further on that one . Two out of three boot bad . The Bose was my main concern and it rectified the issue with that one thank goodness.

Potluck if it will get your player working.
