Rockford Fosgate Punch P3S-1X12 P3S Single 12" Shallow Subwoofer Loaded in Enclsoure

I'm not certain why these don't just come with the grills in the box, but they are must for most installs.The speakers sound great. Was contemplating doing regular 10", but I'm glad I didn't. These provide a much deeper sound and still retain a nice punch to them.The only odd part is that they are wired to 1 ohm. This means that if you are installing two, you need to run them in series up to 2 ohms for most amps, since most aren't stable below 1 ohm.

Although the package was clearly marked Rockford Fosgate all over it (attention porch Pirates) the packaging was also severely damaged and it was missing the mounting brackets and Hardware 🤨.. The subwoofer itself sounds amazing and great quality. 👍🏻

Slapped hard for over 2 years until I pushed it too hard with my amp

Had it for 2 years in my f150. Noticed it sounded distorted the other day and saw it cracked. Ok two years isn’t terrible. I just bought a new sub with a lower profile by a few 1/16ths but it doesn’t matter because even though my new subwoofer is slimmer than the old, the old never fit in the first place either. When I opened up the box, it turns out they had to cut a hole in the bottom of the enclosure and put a piece of plastic over the hole. They need this for the clearance for the very bottom of the original subwoofer. So this box really can’t fit ANY low profile subwoofer unless you compromise the box by cutting holes in the bottom. So now I’ve got a broken sub and a sub that won’t fit this box and now need to find a new box…

This fit my 2019 Super Crew Cab Ford F-150. I placed it under the back seat. It is a lot thinner than I expected, but that made the speaker more hidden beneath the seat. I read that this was lack luster on some peoples system. I can say its not. If you want punchy bass you can feel in your chest, this is it. Make sure you get a 1 ohm stable amp. Preferably not one from those cheap brands like rockville. I paired it with a Kicker CX400.1 400W Amp. It provided the 1 ohm and also full power for these. Yes, it can make your windows shake, but who enjoys music that loud?

This box fits perfectly under the seat of a 2016 Crew Cab Silverado! Well built enclosure and I have to say this shallow sub woofer added the bass I was looking for! Wow! If you are debating going with (1) 12" or (2) 8" subs because you are working with restricted space, I recommend going with this box, hands down!

Installed in a 2006 silverado crew cab. Sound is better than I expected. It ha good punch and plays pretty loud. It's no JL, but I would buy it again in a heartbeat
