SSL SSL400.4 EDGE 400-watts Full Range Class A/B 2 Channel 2-8 Ohm Stable Amplifier

This SSL amp works wonders for my factory door speakers! I wouldn't recommend this for subwoofers that you put in the trunk. But if you want to pay an affordable price and get good sound quality, then is what you are looking for!! It serves its purpose!

Not good at all hook i hooked it up to my car and when I plug brand new db rca cables it has a humming noise switch the rca to a JL cable same thing.not a happy camper.

I installed this amp with 4 new MTX speakers in my car, there is some serious buzzing going on as well as engine noise. I switched the wires one channel at a time to a monoblock amp and tested them all, no problems and it has the same ground. I'm taking my car to audio professionals in a few days to find out if this amp is indeed useless or if its something else. I noticed all of the most RECENT reviews for this product were bad (same time as mine) so I'm discouraging everyone from buying this amp.I'll change my review if it improves.

Its pretty light in weight and small in size, which told me right of way its wattage wasnt true but it works great, its amplifying 6 speakers,2. 3 -1/2 " 3way, 4. 5 -1/2 with 2 tweeters...amp is all the way up too, the sound is good enough for my 66 baja bug...as a small project and nothing top of the line , I would recomend this amp.

Decent Amp.. Terrible Customer Service.. Remember.. This amp is 2 x 4 channel.. It senses the additional 2 channels and becomes a 4 channel when it sees signal on the other RCA's. Something Customer Service could not answer for me. Had to figure it out for myself or send the amp back. I thought there was something wrong with it at first. But it is auto Sensing for the additional 2 channels.. Quiet Amp that makes good power !! I think SSL uses a call center for handling calls from customers. Just a guess.. If Customer service were better, I would have given them 5 Stars !!

Great little amp. I use this little guy to power my two 4" Rockford Fosgate speakers and it works great. I really like how small it is, it fits in my speaker case very well.

This amp is bad, I hooked it up to my 6x9s and it went on protection mode, so then I decided let me try with my tweeters. Still on protection mode. This amplifier is trash. Now I feel like returning it even though I almost threw it in the trash. Haha. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy.

Not sure how they do it, but this amp packs a lot of performance and quality for the price. If you are hesitant to purchase because you haven't heard of the brand or think the price is too low, don't hesitate and just order. This brand went from unknown to a strong preference after my experience. Packaging and accessories were of good quality and instructions were clear. The amp powered my speakers very well and didn't output any undesirable buzzing or excessive heat. The amp is very lightweight and versatile enough to mount in many locations as well. It would easily fit under a seat, though I mounted mine in the trunk.

is not power mosfet is integrated circuit but it sounds good , the price says it all, It is not small subwoofer speakers
